Hey guys, I need someone to help me out that knows a good amount on older Psychopathic Records history. Long story short, I bought a copy of The Terror Wheel CD off Ebay today for dirt cheap because I only have the most recent HatchetGear pressing of it and wanted a early one... Question is, which pressing did I get? Psychopathictraders.com says the first pressings had orange writing with 313 399 7284 as the phone number, however, the one I just bought has white writing with the 313 399 7284 phone number and PSY number 1007. I know the newer pressings had the 3313 phone number with the PSY number being 4001 and a parental advisory on it... Anyway, take a look at the Ebay listing and look at the 5 pictures and tell me what you think and help me figures out which version this is. Its got to be a early pressing right? Either way I paid $3.25 for it so thats cool. Here is the link... Oh yeah, the phone numbers on the disc and the back of the CD cover don't match either so maybe the CD is in the wrong case?...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Te.....7675.l2557

Make sure you click on "See Original Listing" So that you can see the 5 pictures.

the only way one could know for sure, would be if psy had taken the time to document stuff like that, and they didnt.  probably, deliberately didnt.  any other source is hardly authoritative.

doesnt really matter, though.  you can just tell everybody its a first pressing.  if they disagree, point out that they really have no fuckin idea, either, and are talkin out their asses just as much as you are.  whatre they gonna do, drive up to your house with a forensic team and pore over your cd collection?  i doubt anyone who isnt a dipshit will care.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

Very true lol, I am kind of a completionist when it comes to collecting PLUS I have OCD so when I can't figure something out it really tends to bother me lol, I was just in hopes that some other big collectors can take a look at their versions of The Terror Wheel and see if they have one like it with the phone number on the disc being different then the one on the trayliner...

It is also nice for us to talk about something else for a change besides dumb shit and HatchetGear lol.

I would reach out to the psy traders if they are still keeping things up to date.

I got some things that they dont even have listed, like the fright fest 2003 (maybe 2004) etched glass twizted pint glass, 1 of 43 (i got number 13) and i havent seen a single other person who owns one

I tried to get up with them a while back for a different reason. Nobody ever responded. Somebody needs to remake the discography section and bring it up to date. Maybe somebody around here have enough knowledge to re-create it? Maybe someday...

For the price you paid, either way it's pretty fresh. I just got an early pressing of the blue COC cassette off Ebay for $20. It's a legit original. Sometimes drunk browsing through Ebay late at night will turn up some gems. Some "RARE" gems.

Thats cool too. Alot of times people are selling the cds and not knowing if its hard to find or not. I just bought a sealed Hollywood The Great Milenko for $15.00 last night. The seller probably didn't even know what it was lol.
