I didn't hear it until after it came out, but it is one of my favorite tracks to this day. This is one of those songs that a lot of non-juggalos can enjoy, too.

Not sure what you mean by Affect me. Songs don't affect me. I either like them or I don't. They may come out during certain times in my life that I have particularly vivid memories of but the song itself does not affect any part of me (well, except my basic auditory system)
That being said, I like homies enough to listen to it occasionally but usually I just hit skip when it comes up in random rotation.

I always thought the remixes done for the Wraith albums were garbage. I didn't like the Homies track though but yeah it fit in with Shangri-Lah. Always skipping that track.

Dude how can you not like the song its just a good feeling song mabye it depends on what you were doing during the time it came out for me mini gatherings of fam for that moment in time you were on top of the world good friends good music probbly fucked up but even sometimes niot on anything just chilling with your homies at the mall I'm assuming some of the people never had mall rat days ok here's a story
we had a friend non juggalo right but good friend hung out with the whole crew well he got into a beef with some west tampa kids gang kids w.e friday night. they were gonna jump him. sio word got around and he's chilling in the parking garage you can see him in the corner surrounded by like 8 next thing you see bout 30-40 juggalos lettetss pour out from the stairs on to the 2nd level safe to say they backed the fuck down. THAT was the shit we never delt with anymore gang bullshit at the mall whayt was blasting after we drove them off homies you mess with one of us you better step to the whole crew

I'll throw in my $.02 here. Out of context, or even in it, I could see why some Juggalos (and, as always, non-Juggalos) did not enjoy this song. It's basically nothing like any of their previous work and is definitely not "wicked". But for me, I liked it right off the bat.
It'll never be one of my favorite ICP songs, but ICP shot for a "feel good" song and in their own weird way they pulled it off. If this song was released during ANY other era of theirs, it would not have worked at all. But it worked during that time. Everyone was excited as hell for the 6th and a lot of good karma was going around. ICP were reflecting back on all the good times leading up to the 6th, Violent J lost a shitload of weight, and it seemed all the acts on Psychopathic were on the uprise. It was the first thing we heard from Shangri-La and it got me excited, although I do remember hoping that not every song on the album had that sort of sound. So, I dunno, i guess my point here is that the song came at the right time for those of us that had been Juggalos for a long time and it was good times.
The video itself fit the song well. I won't go too in depth about how I feel about the video, but one comment. Why does Monoxide look like an old grandmother living on a plantation in this video?
