I missed these... Something I read that peaked a moment of thought. So thought I'd share it.
Recently, something that has been on my mind is people that put on 'performances'. These people's biggest goal is to 'be the center of attention', so I honestly can't tell what it is they're actually trying to do. Those people are abundantly talented so they try to extend into many different fields and never try to quietly master one single thing.
Is it art, or is it politics? Is it a rescue operation or is it business? I feel like they are particularly extraordinary and uncanny part of society. I can really think of no way to unite these clashing goals.
Probably a pointless thread but still given it a shot.
In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that man has no control; even over his own will.

@JiffyLong Food For Thought is essentially something that warrants serious consideration. In this case maybe not so much. But the two quotes that maybe I should've quoted to Hirohiko Araki as not to confuse a young mind such as yourself. Or maybe instead of just jumping straight to typing or more so posting a link read it and think for a good half hour or longer before you post again.

I think there are different motivations for different folks. Some want money and fame and others just want to be loved. Some see art as a passion and a need that should be shared with people and others see it as a means to an end. I think we all probably share some of these traits in one way or another but just dont have a marketable talent....idk this is kind of an obtuse thread that could be interpreted different ways.

I've viewed the first quote as so many talented people who just try new stuff constantly and never stay on one thing long enough to be a master in it. Sort of like taking a sly jab at people who want to be jacks of all trades. The second part aiming at how two things that are completely different in concept are being forced into each other.

I never thought any topic you ever started was lame at all, just thought that this one was. Doesn't require a whole lot of thought either, it's very misleading.
