Just want to say, I'm not necessarily going out and TRYING to "rip him off" or anything, I know you didn't say that but I just wanted to make it clear that I just have taken the things I enjoy about his beats and want to use that same style in some of my beat-making. I was originally apprehensive about it but the way I see it is that I'm not remaking beats or anything, and everything is really derivative when you get down to it.  

Been listening to a lot of him too. Going to his concert on the 14th actually.

 

I wouldn't worry about ripping him off or what not. Everybody get's their inspiration from somewhere. Just make what you want to make and fuck everybody else's perception as long as you're happy with it.
