We all have a like/hate relationship with Limp Bizkit (well, mostly just Furious Fred Dursty), but I admit they would be a fantastic addition to close out the first or second night. Pure guilty pleasure band that actually had some great tracks on their first couple disc's. 

I found that no matter how much we love hip hop, horrorcore, etc.. it can get pretty bland pretty quickly at these long festivals, hearing people rap over beats nonstop. Even the most talented rappers can just become white noise at concerts... so to have some live instruments with metal artists and such, always kicks things into high gear. It is a strange effect: too much hip hop can make even the blander GOTJ metal bands like Dope sound super aurally refreshing. Variety is good, is what I'm saying. That's why I want Mayday and Rehab there, to start. Live instruments, man. 

All this being said, I'm still content with it being 3 days instead of 4 or 5. Less is more, IMO.

Hoping I can go but that is right about the time I am relocating back east to start my new job so who knows.

But back to ALHS... there is just something special going on in that album. The production, the lyrics, the story, even the skits. Fats Belvedere reminds me of a few dudes I knew from NY growing up. One dude actually had the nickname "New York". I played poker with him at my brother's house once. Years later I re-met him in jail. Turns out he had stolen my brother's Playstation games (unfortunately I was accused of it... that hurt), but I didn't know until much later. New York, he gave me a bunch of Ramen packs in front of everyone. My other brother told me that wasn't exactly a good thing.. more like he was making a show for me to do him a favor at a later date. But I was out of jail pretty quick and never had to reap the consequences of someone "just being friendly".

Also, when that dude raps "plus the bitch fart in her sleep" made me laugh out loud the first few times.

That album fucking sounds like New York City. It sounds like any city in the summer. Just fantastic.  

Mad respect for this. Never known anyone appreciate that album or subject matter, the same as I do. 

This album transcends borders and nations. It speaks to anyone who came up in a city around those city people.

I think he has some kind of Cystic fibrosis too. He's had these problems since like 2000 but only made them public in like 2015. He seems like a good dude.

ALHS is my all time fav album. Unfuckwithable from front to back. As far as concept albums go, it'll never be topped. 

Ive been bumping that album since before it was released (got a promo copy from someone) and it still sounds like it was made yesterday. Even today, I think I've heard every reference in Soda N Soap, then I hear something new. "Go to a mountain, do (moutain dew) a little skiing." Absolute genius.

That Griselda squad is great for putting Buffalo on the map. Upstate NY is a crazy place. Miles upon miles of forests, hills, lakes, mountains and ponds... then you have these sudden metropolises, full of despair, poverty, violence. Everyone knows all the Wu Tang verses and everyone raps. The food is great. Lots of us are what I call "hillbilly thugs": we can survive in the hills or the streets. What a place. Would be a nice welcome Gathering addition, but I don't know many who listen to them in the Juggalo world outside of East coasters. 

We need a Second Chance Stage... Tila Tequila, Juvenile, Bubba Sparx, Ying Yang Twins, etc.
