When I was getting ready to board, Jumpsteady walked in the Greyhound station and asked if any Juggalos were stranded. A few were, he paid for their tickets and rolled out. I remember attending the Jeckel Brothers Instore Tour in Schaumburg, IL, They Tower Records got fucked up, cops were called in, and I got to stay inside and hang out with J while there was chaos outside.

tip:  bring fuckin water.  or acquire it after arrival, but have mad water at all times.  

wonder how many goofuses are thinkin, 'why bring water to a water park?'  

  

extra tip:  shoes you can walk in.  a lot.  expect much walking.  

  

bonus tip:  bring trash bags.  every time you generate a piece of trash, place it inside of a trash bag.  

or in a trash can.  with a trash bag in it.  

at the least, make it a point to police up your camp right before you crash, or right after you get up.  youll be happier.

Basically, don't underestimate shade, drink more water than what you think you need, don't skip eating, and don't try to fit everything in because you'll end up doing nothing. There's a lot more than that but those are the basics. If you're around closer to the date you'll start seeing people offering rides, needing rides, offering extra sleeping/driving accommodations, and the Village start to take shape. Don't hesitate to jump in on any of those conversations with any questions, yo.

theres also the meetup massacres.  plans for which are probably gonna have to get cookin kinda soonish.  

  

tip:  get with your road dogs as soon as possible.  if you have no road dogs, make some, preferably ahead of time.  in the meantime, try not to trust people until you have a good reason to.  

better tip:  a great big fat bag of brand new extra fluffy socks.  change them shits out at least once a day.  twice is better.

i gotta say, if i was four minutes from my destination, my pride alone couldnt allow me to buy a ride.

It's tough but worth it. You can probably uber it from the station for cheap or free of it is that close.

There is usually a flh village. Once those threads start, commit to chillin with people.

Strangers helped me set up my tent. Juggalos is nice.
