Last year I camped by the seminar tent, which also led me to the better showers. So you can avoid that fucking hill, or the other hill which isn't so bad.

I can't say I ever got lost even the first year, but I suppose I was good about remembering landmarks as I learned the place. You can definitely get turned around at night when you don't know the place. But it's not like you can't bring your map with you everywhere too.
