i think in all honesty it got weird for a little after freek show. Frittz had a part to due with twiztid’s music quality goin down hill for awhile. frittz hit a homerun with freekshow.
ya we all love mostasteless but it was “We dont die” that put twiztid on the map.
but the beats went downhill after that.
i think heartbroken and homicidal saw them finally goin into high quality beats. then abominationz was dope. twiztid is heading in the right direction again.
greenbook was good. but its dated now and its a great album that brings back great memories.
its never been twiztids raps it usually was the beats.
mutant tho….wow…that was a letdown. they can do great rock songs like “darkness” but that album mutant was terrible.

I lost my oldest bro in April and am just now considering forgiveness. I know its taboo to talk that way, but that’s how it is and I’m sure you understand.
You didn’t kill da thread lol.. I’m always yakking about my two brothers dying in these threads, and I’m sure many are sick of it. But its a major factor in my life and in turn is part of who I am. I’m never seeking sympathy, maybe some empathy, but mostly just trying to make sense of it all and figure out what more I can learn from these experiences. Trying to figure out where Twiztid, I mean God, lost me… wait a minute lol

Darkness and the heavier stuff on Freek Show had me excited for Mutant. Bobby’s Dad was a POS though.

@lucem-ferre Yeah regardless of your feeling about him my condolences as well Lucem…a good homie of mine did the same shit about a year and a half ago…and there was a meager silver lining in the situation…one of his “homies” he was running around doing needles with (I couldn’t/wouldn’t allow him near me he got a habit for home invasions) managed to get clean and has been there for his son for almost two years sober as a judge…
The rest of his “crew” he abandoned OCJ for all still bang in their dick veins…but at least one of them manned the fuck up, got clean, and is doing right by the people he left behind.
I hope you have some sort of silver lining in your situation man.

@ thattroublemakerguywithotherwordsinthename I always thought Independence Day took enormous leaps on the production side of things. I can’t figure out why a lot of people hate on that album….I loved it so I stopped trying to figure out why no one else does. Some of those beats by Seven sound like Dre produced them. Top notch shit!

independent’s day was a huge step up in production. that is very true.
it has some good songs.
i think we all are waiting on the next full length by twiztid to see where they are going. they got more freedom now. we can see all types of collabos now. it doesnt have to fit the hatchet mold with features only bein icp, blaze or abk. we can see the tracks with rittz, tech n9ne, hopsin, whoever. its open season now. its all on twiztid and they will deliver they make quality records
