Man all this drama that has been happening has really made me very sad..

I know that there will always be drama but it just sounds like a huge klusterfuck. Back in the day when I started listening to ICP/Twiztid,ect It was nothing but love and because of all the bullshit that family feeling is not there anymore. I miss the old school carnival sound. I miss just a bunch of juggalos getting together (for those who remember the old car clubs JRCC/HRCC) drinking faygo and just having a good time with out all the gang shit.

I really hope that one day the old carnival sound or as J put it “hatred” will be back one day cause thats what made Insane clown posse. This is the music that helped me get through my day when I was going through depression, going through breakups and not to mention this is the shit i listened to when i lost 300lbs running my ass off at the gym. I will always be a juggalette and it saddens me I can’t put a hatchetman on my car for fear I might lose my job or my kid.

bought shirt,hat,patch….No hot topic,hatchetgear bullshit. Before the entire “Whoop, Whoop” thing.

When even the Bi-sexual depeche mode peeps would point and laugh. When people would get their 

ass kicked for even playing ICP, That is a Juggalo to me, personally.

Temporary “Juggalos” who just got in to it because Snoop or ODB was fucking with them.

People buying a jokers card shirt from Hot Topic and Spencers because they liked the way

it looked, like the Misfits Skull shirt, But had no clue about the group. Slipping in to the gangsta rap

stuff. Still taboo, but accepted at the same time. Mtv……Mtv. Newer juggalos really catching on

to twiztid and the newer acts. Competition on their own label. New to a lot of new people. The “Family” era.

New deck up to now. No longer Taboo, On Tv or are mentioned on TV regularly. Juffalos who try

way to hard to prove how down they are. No mystery behind them anymore. Your parents are

hip on them now. No longer underground, “Fisty Cuffs” is more how they used to be. This is the natural

process and progress for a band. They made it. Created a Blueprint and got rich in the process.

You cant be the worlds most hated band with the roster of people you have collaborated with, just no.

They still put out a great product, but in a sense they are a brand now.

Sheepalos are the people who buy anything with that hatchet man stamp

on it. Its no longer a “Fuck you” to listen to ICP or wear the merch. It’s waaaaaay to easy to be a Juggalo

now. Juggalos used to be defined as “anti-establishment” but when the band you like sort of becomes the

establishment, how does that define the newer juggalos? This is where the friction from Older fans and newer fans

come in to play.

That’s a pretty fair run down minus a few caveats but none are important. The’re definitely a brand now, which is what I think Lucem is always on about when he’s calling them “mainstream” horrorcore. He’s not wrong in the least but I think some Juggalos have a kneejerk reaction to the word “mainstream” so your description might be more digestible. 

The main thing I would add is that it’s still hard to be a Juggalo but in a completely different way. Like you said, your parents know about ICP. Everybody knows about them. Shit, try to find someone that doesn’t like a few ICP songs (usually from Milenko…). Which is why I think it’s difficult in a different way now.

Back in the day is was hard to be in the KISS Army because of the whole Knights In Satan’s Service thing. Now it’s hard because everyone and their mom knows about it and thus thinks it’s open season to give you shit. They know about it enough to treat it like a punching bag because the band succeeded in creating a brand. It’s not one in ten tryin to throw down with you anymore, it’s nine in ten talking shit because everyone knows it as a joke.

You even get it from other “Juggalos”, especially from other “Juggalos” really. Mention that you like ICP and that you’re a Juggalo and the reaction is a long diatribe about how they use to be into ICP but then they started listening to “real” shit like {insert whatever horrorcore artist they listen to who inevitably sucks ass but has a stupid name for their fans}. Basically, you’re stuck hearing about how “cool” they are and how “lame” you are because you still like ICP and are a Juggalo. Which, all things considered, sums up being a Juggalo fairly well. We’re the lame ass mother fuckers again! So…yay, I guess. 

I’d rather take that than the old days wherein being a Juggalo meant that you could take a punch but it’s not all roses now either. It just sucks in a completely new and exciting way.
