Still don’t think it’s gonna happen…

I am too far away to go, but truthfully with trump in office, ICP needs to cancel it. Trump plans to militarize local police across america to “restore respect for police officers” (cough- Gestapo -cough). If juggalos march on DC trump will have no problem making gang issues worse for juggalos.

Plus lets be real, now that we have a person who knows nothing about politics (or common sense) and wants to dismantle and shape the government his way, we have much bigger problems than the FBI calling us a gang. He is ready to change everything except the prison system and we need to fight that.

Yes, he has a few good policies about lobbyist, but 90% of his plans are not only dangerous for the U.S, but the entire world. He has all the makings of a dictator and with complete control of all three branches of gov, not much will stop him. Don’t fall prey to mass media. We just elected a tyrannical bigot in office and no juggalo should be okay with this, he represents everything we stand against. History can repeat itself and we currently have a combination of the bush era and Germany in the late 30’s, I for one will not be passively blind to all the signs of fascism.

Point is, fuck the juggalo march. We need to focus efforts on awareness of the danger that is trump.

I think there are reasonable arguments for and against participating and everyone should make up their own mind.  As someone who lives in DC though I can tell you that who the president is makes absolutely no difference.  The response to the march will come from DC city police and the Park Service police since it’s on the National Mall.  Trump or anyone else above the level of the local police will have no idea what’s happening or any interest for that matter.  

I don’t totally agree with psyral that protests never accomplish anything, I think the march could potentially get some media attention and open some eyes.  But he’s definitely right that these kinds of protests happen on a daily basis, and they arent something the president would get involved in responding to.

Even though cops have come to my home and questioned my family about Juggalo gang affiliation, I don’t plan on being there. I’ll find a better way to use my resources.

fuck yeah @ocj_brendan no NOVA ninjas have a reason not to be there.. I’m from south west VA it’s a 5 hours drive and I consider myself to have no reason not to be there.
