What’s wrong with liking Hollywood undead? Some great tracks mainstream with a darker menace to it if you listen properly.

As for icp unplugged I can’t see it working, but piggy pie would be interesting! However a twiztid session would be a better idea!

Actually a ICP Acoustic album would be cool they would have to pick the songs that are more guitar based Like Lets Go All the Way, Chicken Huntin but the OG was kinda acoustic, Wind Me UP, Assassins, A lot of stuff from Shangri-La, and AJB.

Those Worried about singing quality should hear LL Cool J’s unplugged show he wasn’t singing he was just shouting like most rappers do and it was classic. Zug Izland Could be the back up band and backing vocals along with Mike C. And Legz on guitars.

I think Psy has the quality musicians to pull it off. But of course that’s my opinion.

ive been around just nothing to add to the convo til now. All ive seen is Where so and so lost me Threads and to me none of these artists have lost me I love musical exploration and becuz im a musician I understand what it is to want to create something new for the sake of the individual not so much for the fan. Becuz the fan wants them to be the same always u see it in metallica bands like Mortification they are always expirementing and they get ish for it but it helps the artist to grow so when he has gotten them other styles out he can feel more creative doing what he does best.

That’s y I don’t comment too much nowadays just too many complainers. If they aren’t musicians who are constantly learning then they wont understand that concept.

Its cool if u want to be like slayer and make the same album 1000x b4 u do something new but some like to have variety and musical fusion. I dig Slayer but if uve heard one album uve heard em all. When im in the mood to kill and destroy fast songs are key but most of the time I want to be entertained with crazy stories with diverse musical landscapes.

Sorry for the rant.

Slayer’s the shit Preachy, blasphemy!!!! Okay, you kind of have a point, but all of their albums are good, except Show No Mercy. That album sucked, sounded like Vince Neil singing. They all have the same technical approach to how their made but you can tell the songs apart from every album if you’re a fan. So, as I was saying, blasphemy!!!!!!

This is what I’m talking about dude. You’re not funny, even in high school that shit would have been lame. Your insults suck, your topics suck, and your lame attempts at humor or insulting others almost makes me embarassed for you. Get it through your head: YOU ARE NOT FUNNY.

If they set out to do some classics in acoustic, and were serious about it, I’m sure they could pull it off, and it would be tight as hell.  Violent J can sing his freaking brains out.  However, they’d probably just have to hand shagz a tambourine or something.

Preach Pat! Agreed 100%. I agree with Preachy almost 100 until he used Slayer as reference. Way off…Season’s of the Abyss sounds nothing like South of Heaven or Reign in Blood, which both of those sound nothing like Show No Mercy or Haunting the Chapel. Divine Intervention was a whole new level of Slayer that I can’t even explain. Undisputed attitude was a punk cover album but in Slayer’s style. Diabolus in Musica was Slayer being influenced by the nu metal sound Korn created.

Like I said Preachy was right but used the wrong example. I love Slayer.

I guess the themes could be similar, but there is nothing similar with the musical style of Hell Awaits and Diabolus at all.

I’m drunk so I can’t think of it right now, what’s that one song where J says something like- I’m singing, I’m singing, like eddy vedor, but only better .  I’m sure my spelling is wrong, and my quote is inaccurate, but I’m sure someone will know what track I’m talking bout

From tadpoles to frogs to Jesus to legends.
