This lawsuit to me sounds like her lawyer is her new boyfriend and they’re just trying to make a quick buck.  I don’t support sexual harassment in the workplace, but I for one seriously doubt the legitimacy of her claims.

Billy is J’s yes man. It doesn’t matter who comes in at this point they all answer to J now. Nobody can replicate Alex telling J to back off and let him take care of business. Different era. After Alex supposedly left with “millions” best believe J will always be hovering around everything business related to the label. Which is bad because now everything J does is what he feels is best for business. J the business man has no more creativity or passion. He’s basically become the record executive he used to hate and fight against.

Not defending Billy just saying it doesn’t matter who plays the role of CEO. Everyone answers to J. The fact Billy calls Sugar Slam Yoko Ono lets me know he’s not a completely blind dumbass. I’m sure he sees most mistakes J is making but what can he or anyone do about it? Shit that’s what. Just say “yes sir” with a smile and keep watching the label tank since J will never change and admit to fucking everything up.

And as far as the way employees are treated, it’s been that way since Alex was in control too. Can’t just blame Billy. The difference is now ICP has made a real push to go mainstream as an independent label (before they had the major labels taking care of all this shit) and started hiring outside help to get it. So these people coming in aren’t just hired juggalos who are happy to be there and will basically work for free. They’re people making careers for themselves. They can’t treat them like they can juggalos (like shit) and think they can get away with it. These are people who will push back. They’re finding that out quickly.

All thats been said is they are denying truth to ANY of it and to speak to their lawyers. Thats what was said at the end of the press release regarding the GOTJ vendors being owed.

You have to wonder with all the drama going on if their hearts are even into this anymore or if it’s all just business at this point. Optimistic view they take everything that’s been happening and roll it up into another classic record like they were known to do in the past and everyone’s back to believing in ICP again. Pessimistic view it just keeps getting worse until they call it quits. How much can they take? Maybe they need a come to Jesus meeting. I don’t know.
