Why is Rachel constantly mentioned for this? I searched the internet and only thing I could find of her rapping was the juggalo psypher last year and the comments tended to favor @sewerside the most and her the least. She definitely raps way better than I do, but I see her talent and attention used primarily in her community work and art.I just don’t see it as a likely possibility.
I did notice while trying to scour the web for this, she definitely has one fan from here that seems to stalk and comment post to practically every single page I visited that references her.
I think because
- She is on good terms with the crew at psy
- Someone said or implied that it’s a girl and the lack of gendered language seems to confirm this
- Someone said or implied that some of us know her.
- She isn’t an established rapper like molly gruesome, i think several of us didn’t even know she rapped.
- She is a dope visual artist but most artists these days are polymaths so her dropping an ep on psy isn’t unreasonable.

So we are back to speculation. Is it you ? Maybe to hide the fact that it is, you have been adding to the speculation to throw people off.

Where the fuck is everyone getting their speculation from? Other than the obvious out your ass stuff. The only thing I’ve seen is the Hatchet Herald where J basically said it’s hard to find people no one knows about so pretty please with sugar on top just play along. Is it the radio shows? I never listen to those things.
Dunno if I’ve said it or not but I’m going with Myzery. Esham would be the obvious choice but I think his ego is too big for a Psychopathic gimmick and I don’t see them signing Rachel or Sewerside because both of them are already established and doin their own thing. Psychopathic tends to either grab people that haven’t really found themselves as artists yet or artists from yesteryear.

Was it one of the artists that were there with them on June 10th? I think the openers were Young Wicked, DJ Carlito, and Freakz R US. I am unsure of who was there, I was going from what I could find on the internet.
nuttin nyce was also there. with his fti team.
freakz is apparently down to one ninja. never really got a story about that. i know em [they recorded their first song with me, actually… god, that was a long time ago…], but i aint been keepin up with em, lately. show the other day was the first time id seen em in years.
at any rate, if one or all of the freakz had been signed [or for that matter, nyce or any of the fti people], im pretty sure theyd have told me. and they didnt. or, did they…?
@chops – were the hell were you at, anyway? im assumin you were there, yeah? i had a flh hatpin for ya.

well, i spose i wasnt sworn to secrecy about that…
i divined the information by cracking an elaborate cipher encryption, cleverly hidden within the bar codes of lost, found, phantom, and beverly kills.
or did i…? i mean, maybe im just pullin legs, right…?

no, but i did use the low-tech version that i got with a transformer on my eighth birthday.
it doesnt work.
doubt the ninja tool works, either. ninja decoder only works on the bpb stuff. doesnt work on anything else.
or, does it…?

It works on any and everything I’ve tried it on thus far. I mean, I even tried it on my shoes and sure enough, it made them look red as all hell.

Man I really wanted to make it but I’ve got a lot of stuff going on in my life right now and couldn’t afford it. HeethenXL and myself have an ep recorded but it’s kind of on hold right now for the same reasons. Nyce is still killing shot though. I heard he tore it down that night.

i need to get caught up. from what i heard/saw, area scene is all over the place, now… but a bunch of old faces still there.
Nyce is still killing shot though. I heard he tore it down that night.
did good, but i was honestly more impressed with stubz [or i guess hes just ‘bloody’ now, whateva].
it was just him alone on the stage carryin the act, and he held it down well, bein kinda hamstrung like that.

I still have mine! I keep it at work on my “altar”. I keep it with some of the past holographic gathering tags (technically lenticular), the past gathering medallions, a bottle of rock and rye faygo (expired), and some cd’s – one of which is the Wizard of the Hood tin with Violent J rolling papers (completely unused).

Yea the scene here is not what it used to be but then again the music scene in general is not what it used to be. Everybody is kind of doing there own thing. Them and a lot of others been grinding for over ten years. Everybody just keeps hitting dead ends. Nobody is really supporting the local acts like they used to around here, except for other artists.

really, its always been that way. this is sumn i been sayin since before the turn of the millennium. its an oddly saint louis thing.
too much focus on networking [and occasionally, one-upping each other]. not enough left for fans to get into.
every artist knows every other artist; but at the shows, half the crowd doesnt know squat.
another thing [which is more of an ‘any city’ thing], is that too many acts think stl is everything, and that its not worth goin anywhere else. cept maybe to chicago.
lets face it, the stl underground market is strong, but not strong enough to really, really support more than… two or three local acts, at any given time. five at the most extreme.
and nobody is breakin out, until a] they get outta st louis more often, and b] they got a real, measurable fanbase behind em. there have been a few close ones, over the years.
just my read on it. back to the wild west, seems to me. everybody do whatever, and if sumn works, good for you. that mentality.
and, of course… im about 99.44% certain that none of this has anything to do with psychopathics new artist.
or am i…?
awfully paranoid, arent you?

Half of my room is pretty much a shrine of various music related mementos. Which translates to “I have no idea what all I have or where it is” so I respect your ability to keep track of it all. I remember the ’06 Gathering where they were sellin those Wizard of the Hood tins. Fuckers sold out hella fast.

^^Agreed^^She’s a super dope art artist. Personally, I don’t think she has record label signing abilities. Out of that psypher and other songs I’ve heard recently I’d much rather sign Sewerside to any label, just saying. Dude brings it!
Thanks for the props homie!
and now i'm gonna be performin at Juggalo Day WHUT

“Everybody is wondering about our new artist. You should be. Because almost every rap act discovered and developed by Psychopathic Records became an underground Juggalo rap legend. On the internet they are all speculating about who it is. Is it another old rapper that J and Shaggy loved growing up? Is it this guy or that guy? But as I explained in the last Hatchet Herald I wrote, you have never heard of our new artist. So there is no point in speculating. Psychopathic Records works best when we discover somebody with raw, undeniable, immense talent, who doesn’t already have music out or videos and shit on the internet. Today in 2016, that is not easy to do. But when we do find something perfect, it’s like that artist was dropped off to us straight from the wagons of the Dark Carnival, because then we can create freshness from the bottom up. We love working with that unknown, brand new artist and figuring out ways to showcase their strengths and bring the best out of them. And our new artist is STRONG. Our new artist says things I’ve never ever heard anybody say in all of music — period.”
Well, I guess I’m convinced that it’s someone we don’t know… but did anyone else notice that he said guy even though he has to know that ninjas are speculating that it’s a chick? And maybe I’m wrong but he still hasn’t used any gendered pronouns… hmmm lol
