I understand what you are saying with the what would our thoughts and communication be like without language thing.

But the noise we made as babies IS the language that we grow up to use (or, the practice for it).  That’s why babies who grow up in a household where the family uses sign language instead of spoken language babble in sign instead of in noise.  It’s why babies in different countries cry differently.  Even before babies are born, they recognize the language of their mother.  (Not just the sound of their mother’s voice, but the language in which she speaks.)  I understand that you are getting at the more philosophical questions about the use of language, but when it comes to language in babies, it is actually an area that is studied by language scientists and there is empirical data that we can turn to in order to understand it.  These types of information aren’t readily known by the public at large, which is why I feel the need to mention it here- because it is a fascinating field of study, and language is something that everyone can relate to.

Spoken language is probably the most important thing to the survival of the human race and expression of ideas and thoughts. Guess you want your rappers to just say “Goo goo ga ga. Baba mama!”?

Dj paul and juicy j were mostly talented when it came to making the beats together. Every artists they worked wit together shined. This is y lil wyte hasnt been the same since the split. Man i miss the “hypnotize minds presents…” days of yesteryear.
