The march is because A the FBI hasn’t been releasing public lists since they were getting sued so juggalos could still be on that list and none would know. B law enforcement is still being told juggalos are a gang. C juggalos are still being put on local gang lists. D to make sure this never happens again, not just to juggalos but for any music fan base out there.
If you pay attention you’d know these things.
I wanna lay on my side with my head perked up on my hand and listen to u talk.

@lucem-ferre BUT they have publically released lists. In fact, here is the most recent one -> https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/national-gang-report-2015.pdf They are released every two years. The one in 2011 listed us as a gang. The 2013 and 2015 does not. If you want the 2013 one also -> https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/stats-services-publications-national-gang-report-2013

By whom? Maybe the media using outdated info, but not the DOJ or FBI.
King Lucem Ferre said

Maybe you are right about this. I am not sure. From the sources I could find, which would be surveys done of local law enforcement in Massachusetts, most local authorities do not classify Juggalos as a gang and the state police said “Most Juggalos are NOT gang-related, they are simply part of the Icp experience. However, there are juggalos that DO commit crimes”. In Texas, I know a several police officers and they didn’t even know about the classification of juggalos as a gang by the FBI in 2011.

Ok. I can see that. That does make sense. Sometimes I forget that there are others that can potentially benefit from this besides juggalos.

maybe. we see. got lots of time to angle it.
throw some proper odds on it, and ill take that bet.
Proper odds will be tough for something like this, especially in these early stages. An easy way out is to look at it as the odds being EVEN at this point. Either it’s gonna happen or it isn’t.
From there, an assessment of PSY’s past history of planning/announcing things that do or do not come to fruition is needed. That coupled with other variables and I can lay some proper odds.
Now, the only point of coming up with odds is to define a money line. Money is lame and just complicates things. Again, I feel it’s a bit too early to make a proper wager.
How bout something like this. We see how this plays out throughout the rest of 2016. If they’re still talking about it as being a go come January of next year the wager is as follows:
Loser of the bet buys the other (1) ticket to the next ICP tour stop of 2017 to hit their respective areas. Of course this would be a stop that is some time after the proposed DC date. I assume this would be getting into new jokers’s card territory. The ticket would be sent to the winner either via email or regular mail (depending on how the purchaser receives it).
I know you’re good for it and I think you know I am as well.
What’s say you? If you’re game and would rather skip the wait and get into the proposed wager now, I’m all for that as well. I only suggest waiting till beginning of next year to potentially make it more interesting.

so, basicly, you wanna place a bet with a six-month bailout period, then?
nah. money down, or dont be sayin ‘ima bet’. this aint wall street, i dont do ‘futures’.
but at any rate, i aint bettin even money on a dicey event thats 14 months over the horizon. if you cant give me three to one now [shit, at least two to one], then methinks ill pass.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

That’s cool man. If u read the end of my post, I said we could get it goin now. No need to wait. The “bailout period” as you say would essentially be for both of us. No advantage to either there. You’d theoretically have better odds if the event was still a “thing” come January.
Sorry man, just wanted to make it more interesting than some lame cash transaction on an internet forum. I go to Bovada for that where my shit’s secure. Doesn’t make sense either way to give u 3:1 now.
Whatever, I tried.

Damn, speaking of things you get nerdy about, I just spent a good half hour thinking about this.
If I had to set a line, I’d go with 5/2 against, maybe a little bit longer than that. I would definitely take a two to one bet.

If this does indeed happen, how about instead of people coming all painted up, all decked out, etc, come as normal – no face paint, no chanting “F**k The Police”, no throwing up hand signs that people do – Wicked Clown – which some may see as gang signs, no throwing of Faygo upon each other, etc. By doing so, maybe then it would have a bigger impact, because those on the outside looking in could see that the fans are no different than any other person out there – they have families, are respectful, etc etc etc and maybe those who have stood on the outside looking in, maybe then they will look at them in a much different and positive light.
If people come and act crazy, then of course all of this will be for naught and could be a HUGE backfire on Psychopathic Records, but I guess we all will have to wait and see

I was honestly thinking about the same thing. I’m going from Massachusetts, I def want to lend my support, I don’t even wear hatchet gear in my area anymore due to fear of being harassed and put on the gang file while I’m trying to get my life set with School and a good career. If past protests are any indications of this one, this could either end well or very badly. Whenever there’s a political protest it seems as if there’s a riot of some type of violence no matter what it’s over. Especially with the black lives matters protests, there’s always violence at those things. But it happens at all of them, there isn’t really such a thing as peaceful protesting anymore.

Another thing most people aren’t aware of is the fact that there are marches and demonstrations in Washington D.C. ALMOST EVERY DAY. EVERY DAY there is someone speaking at some monument or marching a group down the street (with proper permits of course). And if you’ve ever seen the weird ass shit some of those vegan, SJWs do during their “activities”… from dressing up like bloody, mutilated cows and being chased around by Ronald McDonald to shit like just laying on the ground for hours to represent “the fallen” ‘er some shit…
I don’t think a bunch of clowns are gonna raise too many hackles. Unless yer some kinda Bozophobe…
Exactly, I don’t see this march doing anything at all.
The whole “March on Washington” thing is way too over-done. Just for the timespan of the next 30 days, I found references to 20 marches. And those are only the ones publicly posted that I could find. According to many Washington DC residents, the general attitude is ‘Not another march – too many of them every single day!’. Eric Arnesen, a political historian at George Washington University said that there are so many of them, they don’t carry the weight they once did. Marching on Washington hasn’t brought gun control or changed immigration policy or moved the abortion debate out of the trench it’s been stuck in for decades. Marches don’t change federal policy anymore and rarely grab national attention unless something “bad” happens at one which results in the marchers achieving the opposite of what they wanted.
In conclusion, this march, like the thousands that have occurred before it, will do absolutely nothing in a best case scenario. In worst case scenario, the opposite of what is wished to be accomplished will happen.

It’s absolutely true that there are marches all the time here in Washington. But, I guarantee you a Juggalo march would be enough of a curiosity to draw some media attention. It’s not going to be on the front page of the Washington Post, but it will get some coverage. I don’t think it accomplishes absolutely nothing, either. Many people unquestioningly accept being told that Juggalos are a gang because they have no way of knowing any better. The more publicity stuff like this gets, the more people are at least aware that there’s more to the story.
That said, I don’t think it’s going to accomplish very much at all. Mainly because the first question the press will ask is what the purpose of the march is, and there isn’t really a good answer to that. So, I would expect the coverage will be condescending and we’ll be made to look bad.
But really, who gives a shit? The more I think about it, the more I think that more than anything, it’s just gonna be a fuckin blast. Thousands of Juggalos running around on the National Mall with all the tourists standing around gawking with their mouths open? That will be an unbelievable, once in a lifetime thing to see and be a part of.
