And what was everyone’s opinion on when J said Psychopathic IS NOT a multi million dollar label???!!? Like wtf is that?? Why even say that???

well, what I found was that Psychopathic Records makes around 10 million a year.  Found this tidbit on Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopathic_Records – there are 2 references that were listed in regards to the amount of money Psy makes a year.  Vice did an article about them and talked about how much they make and so did Wired.  Here is the part from the Wired article which was done in 2010

A recent Nightline segment estimated that Psychopathic has revenue of $10 million a year, and while Bruce disputes the figure, he owns four homes in Detroit and has already saved up enough to pay the college tabs for his two kids https://www.wired.com/2010/11/ff_icp/

All you would have to do is get a hold of their tax returns from last year for Psychopathic Records and it would state what their yearly revenue was.  Now for this next tidbit of info, take it with a shot of grain alcohol.  According to this article, Joe and Joey are worth about 15 million each, but like I said, take that with a grain of salt https://thenetworthportal.com/celeb-net-worth/bands/insane-clown-posse-net-worth-career-assets-biography-family/

Did find their public Corporate Entity Documents and Im a nerd, but they are fun to look through.  They do go back to when Alex was the President of the company

People around here seem to think that every cent a company makes goes right into the pockets of the founders of the company.

They can easily make $10 mil and spend 9.5 mil on touring, gathering, music videos, rent, salaries, legal fees, merchandising, and everything else they do. Let’s not forget that young wicked and whoever else complained that they weren’t making money. Some people question the statement that ICP and them lose money on the gathering, but it’s plausible that they do.

If you take them and everybody else at their word, psychopathic is making enough to keep going but not growing.

this is funny – they have an entity named Ninjas In Action, INC and on the document, Rob wrote – Ninjas In Action, INC puts on an annual music festival.  i thought my handwriting was bad, Rob’s is worse.  Looks like he is the owner of this entity.

Na I totally understand alot goes back into the company (like most businesses) and not all of it goes right into their pocket but like damn their merch alone makes more than actual music/touring profits. Idk maybe it’s just me not wanting to think their broke haha

The label definitely is a multi-million dollar label, J seems to try and hide the fact that he is loaded with cash. It is true that even with a $10m annual revenue, that much of it can be spent touring, producing, etc, but there are numerous revenue streams involved.

The merch alone is bringing in hundreds of thousands at minimum, every year. Distribution deals, record deals from Psy’s deals in the 90s, residuals on album sales, are all money makers, not to mention actual touring and money being made from others on the label. Remember Psy owned all of Twiztid’s music for something like 10 years.

The journalist who interviewed ICP a few years ago, Martin Bashir broke it down with them about their net worth which was almost 10 years ago and had J and Shaggy worth 12-15m each. That is very possible for the heads of a successful label. Even if they were receiving only a half mil a year, since 2000, that is 8.5m each and that is a very low estimate, but absolutely possible.

Why ya’ll acting  like houses in the D are worth significant money?

I could own four houses in Detroit for less than $10,000

back on topic though.  worst seminar ever.  barely touched on how much we disliked OKC.  “we know you hate it.  We was just trying to get closer to west coast”.  Told a couple of stories.  talked about how cool his notes are.  robb said cops suck.  that seems to be about it.  Clearly made it a point to dodge anything concerning mne and tech.

I thought the seminar was going to be worth sitting at the tent for 3 damn hours. weed
Edit: And of course their is the Will Sigler situation

Right? They will probably never have open-lines or Q&As ever again. They can’t really address the Sigler situation at this point, they would come off as deceitful hypocrites. Can’t have that. Welcome to the new era.

That is an alarming amount of speculation.

Hmmmm, Guest? Also, were you even at the Gathering? If so, sorry I missed you. Would have been cool to meet you in person.
