I understand a persons religious needs but most of the time when I express my own im told things like “well thats cool but until you accept jesus christ as your lord and savior you’ll burn in hell” and im like wtf?
when i hear shit like that, my usual response is, ‘the biggest difference between you and me, is that when you get to hell, youll be surprised.

Oh oh oh, also another example on how “family” doesn’t HAVE to agree on EVERYTHING. My sisters worried that I’ll go to Hell and shit, because I’m not Christian. Me and her are still cool, no matter what.

As a Muslim, I get exactly what J is saying. There were many times in my life where I turned to my faith for hope and it helped. I’m still “lost” but I hope to gey to the found pahse in my life.
Also, Jesus fuckin Christ I’m so amped for this fuckin ablum holy shit. Funny story, I went to get an extension for this ticket I got and when the desk lady gave me the slip I looked at it and the ticket has to be payed by the 28th of April. It’s a funny coincidence lol.
I’m real excited to hear what Se7en has to offer on this shit as well. I love the shit he did with Twiztid. It’d be sweet if they picked uo Joe Strange again to do a couole tracks on Found.

I only got hit once because I said that anything that is worthy of being called god has the power to do anything then contradicted it by saying that if god existed god couldn’t make 2+2=74. Didn’t even cross my mind when I answered the first one until I got to that question, I new I was going to get hit. I guess anybody could redefine the word ‘circle’ to make squares circles, but nobody could tamper with math because math just is. So math must be a level higher than a potential God.
All hail the numbers!

Wouldn’t bother me, it’s not like they haven’t done it in the past.thats the point. why such big outrage this time? like you said… its not like they havent done it before.
the second post is explained by the first.
schadenfreude.
cheshyr… that test failed to include all possible answers on the second question, so it gave up on it.
lucem… figure out the problem with that math graphic yet?

The problem is:
2(a – b) = a – b does NOT reduce to 2 = 1
It may seem to by dividing both sides by (a – b)
BUT since you already stated in the beginning that a = b then (a – b) will always equal 0 no matter what values you use.
You cannot divide by 0. The correct result of reduction of 2(a – b) = a – b would be:
2(a – b) = a – b
2(0) = 0 … [Because a = b, (a – b) = 0]
0 = 0
0 = 0 is not really an amazing discovery.
Now to make your equation work with division reduction in the last step, you would have to have a ≠ b as your given.
Then:
a ≠ b
a + a ≠ a + b
2a ≠ a + b
2a – 2b ≠ a + b – 2b
2(a – b) ≠ a + b – 2b
2(a – b) ≠ a – b
2 ≠ 1
And 2 ≠ 1 is not really an amazing discovery either.

I have the same issue @scruffy has.
Even from the onset, when using philosophical queries to walk the path of logic to determine what is correct you have to define your terms at the onset. Without a definition of God (which the person who created that test already had his own definition) the queries become meaningless. If my definition of God differs on a fundamental level from the test creator, then my logical conclusions do not match the ones that are given in the test. That was the problem with old philosophical experiment of Pascal’s Wager. It required that God was defined in a way that would lead to the conclusions that were presented.
I agree that if God is defined in a way that leads to the conclusions given in that test, then of course the conclusions would be the result. But that shows nothing at all except that the test creator can form an assumed definition and take that assumed definition to it’s logical conclusion.
No philosopher would ever allow this type of logic in a philosophical debate.

think about this one:
does god make any decisions?
in all seriousness, think about the question, do not answer it. if you have an answer to that question within the next month, you definitely didnt think about it long enough.
work on it for a long, long time.
does god make any decisions?

You are directing this to those who think that god exists, right? or can anyone play this game?

anyone, of course. its a valid thought exercise no matter which way you lean.
in the end, it usually favors the ‘god exists’ theory, more than the reverse.
just goin on history, from talkin it out with homies over many a blunt in the last twenty years.
personally, im still noodling it. im not sure the question is able to be answered at all.
