looking forward to both albums but especially Big Hoodoo- asylum. Crystal Skull is a dope fkn record and i instantly became a big fan of his. Trying to get a verse from him on one of my upcoming projects! Having said that…without trying to spill PSYS business too much and pissing off any of the friends i have over there the fact of the matter is both Asylum and Shapeshifter are done and ready to go. So its up to Psy When or IF they decide to ever put em out. The simple fact is that Psy has been struggling for sales apart from ICP. Its a business at the end of the day and some people need to understand that. They still have tons of Hoodoo Dayton Family ABK Purple gang etc shit collecting dust in the warehouse. If yall want more projects buy the record and then you have done your part. Otherwise who knows….we live in an age of downloading unfortunately.

Put out quality music and we’ll buy it, ala Young Wicked’s album.  Otherwise it’s DL all day. There’s no way some random forum members are gonna get me to believe PSY is sitting on completed records because sales aren’t good. If that’s the case then ICP really just doesn’t have faith in anyone but themselves.

FUCK downloads. yes Young Wickeds album is dope. but was Crystal Skull or Medicine Bag or Abaddon not dope? all three very good albums IMO especially the first two mentioned. N all 3 didn’t sell very well=fact and guess what Dox bounced from Psy again right after. So nothings guarenteed. Hopefully the projects will still drop via Psy. Maybe psychopathic wants Have Knots to drop first prior to that? who knows.

So @frankieg with your logic, those new albums from the artists you mentioned will never be released…? Then why bother still keeping those artists on the label…? You’re saying AMB sold enough records to justify Otis’s solo? Or Jumpsteady’s record’s sold enough to justify his spoken world album?

And on an opinion level, Crystal Skull was a mediocre record from a mediocre artist. Abaddon was a trash record from a trash artist. Medicine Bag was the only dope record and that came out almost 6 years ago. So because sales were bad for a record in 2010, that’s the main reason Shapeshifter hasn’t been released yet as of 2016?

86. no it didn’t sell well. if you remember at the time Hoodoo was very negatively received.  Yes there was cats like me n u who was fuckin with that. but there was also alotta juggalos hating frok the get go cuz they saw it as “hoodoo is who icp is gonna replace twiztid with!?”  Carnival Killa I never said the albums won’t come out on Psychopathic I’m saying you never know. Just cuz something was recorded via psychopathic and their studios n expenses dosnt make Psychopathic the 100% owner of that intellectual and artistic  property. We don’t know who’s got what kinda contract etc etc so we would just be speculating. I do know This for a fact= them records I mentioned didn’t sell well and that does impact psychopathic and their decision making. I think what will end up happening  is Both Asylum and Shapeshifter will eventually come out via psychopathic when the powers that be decide is the appropriate time. that may or may not b after a have knots  release. like I said all we can do is support the art n artists by buying the shit.  if you download everything you have no right to complain about the quality that’s just my opinion. Keep in mind Hoodoo and Killa are really tight. I’m sure Hoodoo could put out a record via native world  if he chose to. I’m hoping we see these records ASAP hopefully on Psychopathic.

I loved Crystal Skull. Still bump it from time to time. Yeah, that whole 2012-2013 period was nothing but hate because of the situation with Twiztid. I’ll say it, I’m not a fan of the shady dealings at PSY. I wish all that crap never happened/happens. But whatever. It doesn’t mean albums like 9 Pistolas and Crystal Skull should get the heat and punishment. Those were good albums, and everyone shit all over them, especially 9 Pistolas (which again, is a good album).

Then you hear about a Sugar Slam album. And you just know that everything else will be put on hold for that, good god. PSY has been slippin for a bit. And yet, I’m not fond of how Twiztid has been acting lately. It’s a very sad thing to see- everyone becoming what they once hated. That’s why I’ve been listening to alot of other artists lately- Kung Fu Vampire, Redrum & Mr. E, Kid Crusher etc. Artists non PSY and non MNE. I want to hear something else other than ICP and Twiztid because… IDK, they just don’t feel genuine anymore.

The shapeshifter prelude was on native world and was a legit cd. As well as Drive By’s latest release. I have seen the ghetto native world cds tho haha
