I don’t see their response as disrespectful. Respect is earned, not freely given. Has Blahzay earned anything?
You’re right, respect is earned. But I think as professionals you should have a baseline of respect for everyone until they prove they’re not worthy of your respect. Like, maybe there’s some behind the scenes shit, maybe Blahzay was disrespectful to them at the studio or something we don’t know about.
They could’ve handled it a bit more professionally, but it’s not a big deal that they didn’t.

I’m saying she might have stood more of a chance if they came out swinging like they did for twiztid. She coulda survived 4 years if they were pushing her as hard as they had with twiztid. Put her on their tracks, put themselves on her tracks, start a super group. Anything. They barely gave her time to catch her footing.
They didn’t have any new shit coming out since they signed her. Again, you’re comparing half a year to 3-4 years. They did as much for her as they could for her in those 7 months. Like hype the fuck out of her, consistently defend her and put her on the Riddle Box tour. They even gave her music videos which Twiztid didn’t get until 3 years after being signed. And that was only one. Blaze didn’t even get a music video until 7 years after being signed.
Let’s be completely honest, she didn’t get over because people couldn’t get over the fact that she fucked J. She rapped as well as the rest of the roster and sang better than the whole roster. This bullshit bout her “playing the victim” shit, ICP never put out music telling people to seek help. Their music has always been “I got problems, I’m going to kill people to deal with them.”

I agree with the last half, but for real, they didn’t do enough. She didn’t even get to play the gotj. They only played her video. That’s whack. People couldn’t even really hear it. And AFTER twiztid, while the other stages were getting started.
And you’re right about the videos, but not even jumping on her songs? Not one? And lets be real. While they haven’t had anything come out since she has been out, they easily could have. And She was working with them for a while before they even announced her. She was on the first riddlebox tour as a dancer and shit. They easily coulda done something to put her out in a better, more thoughtful way that helped get people to hear her.
I’m not saying she should have as many collabs and shit as twiztid did in those years, but she didn’t have -anything- when she came out, so saying they shoved her down our throats is a bit over the top.

They didn’t do nothing, but yeah, the people saying she was shoved down our throats are whiny hyperbolic fucks. You should know by now that a good chunk of juggalos are whiny hyperbolic fucks.

“Let’s“… as in “let us“? Are there other people in the room with you as you typed this? Cuz “US” wasn’t too into her to begin with and again, WE DON’T OWE HER ANYTHING!
She rapped as well as the rest of the roster and sang better than the whole roster.
I’m bettin’ the average karaoke night for you must sound like whatever makes animals flee before a natural disaster… The only thing that DID suck about her EP was EVERYTHING that had to do with her speaking or singing. The rest was quite good.

Said the self-professed NON-Juggalo on a Juggalo-centric forum. You got them all bound up in a nice little NUTshell there, don’tcha?

Cheshyr, serious question. I’m legit curious. Why do you try to pull Lucem’s ‘fam card’ like this somehow invalidates his opinion? Guy has proven he’s got enough insight into the music and culture that an outside observer can clearly infer that he’s an informed adult fully capable of expressing his own opinions. Suggesting “Yeah but u ain’t juggalo tho you ain’t in the sekrit club Xppppp” is literally playground-tier and doesn’t actually do anything to discredit or otherwise invalidate what he’s saying. It’s a non statement.

To answer your question…
Not to be a DICK or anything… but despite your newfound active participation amongst these forums, yer a bit “new” and do not have nearly the information needed to be asking that question.
Not to be a DICK or anything… but there ARE those of us around here that have grown to know each other a little bit better/more and as such, are having conversations that; unless one takes the time to delve into the search function of this site, have no idea are many years old.
Lucem knows me around here. We (and US, as in everyone you don’t know) have long established lines of debate. So.. IOW:
Stay in your lane, noob. (as the internet kids say)
Lucem IS a repeat customer around here and has on MANY occasions pointed out his NON-juggalo status. It doesn’t “invalidate” ALL of his opinions, but as has been pointed out to HIM on many other occasions, his NON-juggalo status is usually the beginning and end of any line of questioning he has about what he can or cannot “understand” about aspects of Juggalo Culture and at times has elicited the response of having people REMIND him of that NON status as the final answer to some of his questions.
Or as someone ELSE has said to him before, “It is not OUR responsibility to help or make you understand…”.
He’s fine.
YOU on the other hand need to do your homework.
But all the same, we’re all still waiting for those links, Lucem the Liar…. I can’t accept a fact until you present it… fucker.

I’m not gonna bother with the block quotes since I’m on mobile and it’s kind of clunky on my phone, but here goes.
“Not to be a DICK or anything… but despite your newfound active participation amongst these forums, yer a bit “new” and do not have nearly the information needed to be asking that question.”
There are no prerequisites to asking questions. You just ask them. Pulling e-rank is just like money in that it only works if you believe in it. I don’t.
“Not to be a DICK or anything… but there ARE those of us around here that have grown to know each other a little bit better/more and as such, are having conversations that; unless one takes the time to delve into the search function of this site, have no idea are many years old.”
That is a point I will concede. Hence the question.
“Stay in your lane, noob.”
No.
“Lucem IS a repeat customer around here and has on MANY occasions pointed out his NON-juggalo status. It doesn’t “invalidate” ALL of his opinions,”
It doesn’t invalidate any of them.
“but as has been pointed out to HIM on many other occasions, his NON-juggalo status is usually the beginning and end of any line of questioning he has about what he can or cannot “understand” about aspects of Juggalo Culture and at times has elicited the response of having people REMIND him of that NON status as the final answer to some of his questions.”
Fair enough, but now was not one of those occasions. The only one who invoked the ‘not a Juggalo’ talking point was you, and near as I can tell he comprehends what he was saying just fine. I also happen to agree with him, which is why I felt compelled to interject in the first place. I’m also a Juggalo but that has zero bearing on the discussion. So to reiterate, it’s a non-statement.
“YOU on the other hand need to do your homework.”

Psy seems confused, like they wanna level up to being bullshit role models instead of human beings like the rest of us. Maybe they can take Hopsin’s advice, keep it real, & show us something ill that we haven’t seen. I’ll start.

A few thoughts on the Blahzay Roze fiasco.
Violent J should NEVER have posted that Hatchet Herald where he talked about banging her and shit. A lot of Juggalos were never going to give her a chance after that. Why did he even do it? B/c he was so proud of himself?
He did a TERRIBLE job with her image. WTF was that wig?! Making her a victim instead of an aggressor (unlike every other act that’s ever been on the label), the “cut marks” on her stomach, etc, etc, etc. I did think the anime-ish logo was cool.
There was not a lot of talent there to begin with. J’s new girlfriend could rap a little bit (a very little bit), so he thought, “THIS will be our female artist!” Like you can just mold anyone into a “star,” even in our little Juggalo world. He should have scouted for (or waited until he found) a genuinely talented woman artist. I take no pleasure in saying this, but Becky is not a good rapper and more importantly she has NO CHARISMA. J was a fool to think it would work.
Given all of the above, I really wanted to see Blahzay Roze succeed. She’d been put in a shitty situation for a new artist and I felt for her. Maybe with time she could’ve evolved into something decent. Her EP was garbage but PSY has released a lot of garbage over the years. Her hero walked up to her and said, “Wanna be the next ICP?” And like any Juggalo without a career would, she said, “Of course!” It’s not her fault that she’s not great at this. It’s Joe’s fault for trying to force a square peg into a round hole. And really classy to call her “unmanageable” as he kicks her ass out the door.

I’m not TRYING to be a troll, I’m TRYING to get you to help me with these FACTS of yours.
Please PLEASE send me those links on that NDA shit! I’m BEGGING to be learnt!
Admit yer shit or stfu… ya got choices.
ps.
There’s plenty of other OGs around here that give me the same kinda shit. It’s not “elitism”, it’s the benefit of loyalty. Maybe when you spend a few years on the site daily, you’ll be able to say the same shit to someone else.
Elitism is spending $4000 on The Mystery Box on the 3rd day of The Gathering.
