Never heard of that, so that was an official release of the Riddle Box with those Hed PE snippets on it??

That’s weird, were they on the same label or something?

Once you think you’re the most versed in ICP mythology, something like this appears.

WHAT THE FUCK! I never knew about a Hed P.E. bonus track Riddlebox! WHAT THAT FUUUUCK!

It’s almost unbelievable to me.

There was some ROCK & SHOCK or similar titled Metal Tour EP that had ICP on a couple tracks.. anyone remember? It had bands like Saliva and Primer 55 on it.

milenko

riddlebox

forgotten freshness 1&2

ringmaster

carnival of carnage

jeckel bros

i started listening in 97 after loving the halls of illusions video on the box channel. A friend of mine had the great milenko cd. He didn’t like it that much but my brother and I couldn’t stop playing it so he he gave it to us. Sometime in early 98 we found a copy of riddle box at a record store. Shortly after that ff1&2 was released along with the shockumentary. Before the end of 1998 I had coc, ringmaster, and the 3 sideshow eps. My first event was the jeckel bros instore the following may.

What I mean by a dope thread is one that doesn’t involve sides and bickering. Since the FLH forums got our own little SJW the political shit has been forced to the forefront. Dont believe me then start looking at the ‘back catalog’ of the forum.

I know I’m not the only one ready to dip out because of it (I wont).

OT

Ringmaster was my first icp album after the we don’t die video got me interested in the scene.

After that it was Jeckel Bros, then the bizzarres, then everything else. Starts to get fuzzy for me after that.

My homies older brother had a friend who bought Riddle Box not too long after it came out because he thought the cover was cool. It blew him away so he put my friend’s older brother onto it and dubbed him a tape. My homies brother put us onto it and he dubbed me a copy of his dubbed copy. I hated dubbed copies so I made my mom take me to a record store the next day to find it and ended up finding a few of their tapes.

My order was:

Riddle Box – the start of it all for me.

Beverly Kills – It was between bumping this and Ringmaster for the first listen. I chose this because I thought the comic book cover was dope and it was short. I figured I could finish it on the car ride home from the record store.

Ringmaster – Third album of theirs I heard. This solidified a life long interest.

Carnival of Carnage – Started digging for their shit anywhere that sold music. I found this at Used Kids Records, a local used record shop in Columbus that’s still in business today, and loved it.

Terror Wheel – By the time I got this I was already signed up for the fan club and had found out they were literally right above me in Detriot, MI. (I’m in Ohio)

Then everything after Riddle Box I heard in the order it came out.

Yes Homie, haha the Fan Club days!  They’d send out about 2 flyers per month, I used to luv getting those!  I wish I still had them all.  I had this super dope flyer of when they were first promoting Twiztid, and also when the 5th was about to drop.  They had the Jake and Jack face outlined just slightly in fire.  That one for some reason really stuck out to me..

It’s hard for me to say, because there wasn’t a time I heard my “first ICP song”, I just always knew em since my parents listened to em. So for me, it was probably Jeckel Brothers and Bizzar Bizaar.

A buddy of mine used to have that hed pe copy of riddlebox lol. It was the first one I heard as a full album. I recall from behind the paint I’m pretty sure that was the reason the label got so pissed about it being like 2 mins longer than they were told because they wanted to add that bullshit and fuck up what a jokers card is supposed to be

The local independent alt rock station 101x was playing chicken huntin slaughter house remix a lot(it was number one on the count down for the last 3 months of 99) along with play with me and lil somethin somethin. So I bought

Riddle box

AJB(first two based on the songs I liked from the radio)

Milenko

Ringmaster/COC same time

everything from 99-present I’ve heard chronologically as they dropped.
