Its actually been very funny listening to people try to defend trump. Oh he's breaking records in legislation...yeah, because he's been throwing shit at a wall hoping something will stick. Tell me one piece of legislation he's proposed that is actually a good idea and progressive for this nation? Never denied that BLM and ANTIFA violence doesn't help their cause, but they're (mostly) mad for a goddamn reason, versus trump supporters who are, as a whole, are just stupid people in general.

Even the ones who can hold a (seemingly) intelligent conversation show their errors in critical thinking by using confirmation bias in every bit of bullshit they spew when it's been shown Trump does NOT speak the truth, his politfact rating is downright embarrassing, and he gets called out almost every day for making false/inaccurate statements. His appoval ratings in this country are a goddamn joke, especially amongst his own party. It's not all a conspiracy against him, he is just a stupid (yet very rich and powerful) man that accomplished what most of us thought was impossible and now we have to pay the consequences for sitting back and letting this happen to our country. I will say it gives me daily entertainment watching both his stupidity and that of the people who support him blindly. 

Now just to say for like the third time. I don't care if you're republican. Plenty of republicans hate Trump, or at least realize how dumb he is. I also don't care if you voted for trump. You could have hated Hilary more then him, that's an arguable fact. You could just be so republican you would never vote democrat. I understand that. But if you stand behind trump and believe what he does is something great. Well news flash, not just the majority of your fellow countrymen, but the majority of the entire world is pointing their fingers at you and laughing at how stupid you are...

My own dad, previously an independent voter and militia-man, who leaned more Libertarian than anything, is now a furious Trump supporter. He also voted for Obama the first round.

I avoid conversations on politics with him, but he mentioned recently how "Russia, North Korea and China are all gonna join up and kick our ass. I believe Trump is the only way to stop them."

This coming from one of the most intelligent people I've ever known. He has gone insane

When I was about 7, my dad's electrician company began to turn a profit. We left poverty for lower class, then almost middle. He retired about 6 years ago and is well off now. Thus, he is rich, retired and easily swayed by the news now.

My mom is the same as yours, thank God. I fear that she would go the political route of whomever boyfriend she had at the time, thankfully she doesn't have one now. Nothing more pathetic than the woman who has no identity other than "her man's". I see it all the time. Watched a Mexican girl turn anti-Black just because her white baby daddy was hateful of Black men. Girls also change their attire, mannerisms and overall outlooks based on "their man's". It's pathetic.
