Two questions for anyone for who has gone so far:1. How late does Twiztid go on? Last time I saw them, they didn't go on until almost 1am.
2. Did anyone get a copy of the cd they gave out to VIP? I'd like to hear it.
I hated that last tour....fuckin sober/tired by the time Twiztid comes on. I hope they come on earlier this time.
also anybody going to the Whiskey this friday?? besides V_RON ??

By the way I haven't seen Twiztid live in a few years so maybe this has been going on for a while and I haven't noticed, but Madrox the entire night (while rapping and while talking) used a higher pitched voice than he usually does. It's almost like the voice you'd expect him to use when he's trying to be funny or whatever, but he used it all fuckin night rapping and talking. I was certainly not expecting that and was kinda annoyed by it at times, but I got used to it. I thought it was kinda weird.
Ya dude, other ninjas have picked up on it. I've been saying for a while that Madrox sounds and looks like he is coked out.
Of course alarm bells started going off in my head that Madrox might be on some harder shit, when I saw this mugshot appear after they got arrested in Florida a couple years ago.
I guess it's possible that Madrox thinks the younger fans dig it when he acts like a high-pitched weirdo.
Every Twiztid show I've been to in the last few years has been all ages.
Twiztid-Shop has Twiztid branded school supplies.

Twiztid's set was supposed to start at 1130 and end at 1230 but they came on about 10 minutes late, and ended probably about 10-15 minutes late.
But I think the only reason they went on at that time was cuz the venue said they kick minors out at 1230 so they wanted to be done by then. If your venue is different, there might be more time between sets and maybe they go on later, I don't know.

Say what? Just an hour, is this usual for you guys (for psy/mne artists or even in the USA)? At a festival, yeah, but for the show of the main act an hour seems to be very short to me. I'd be badly disappointed. I already wondered about short ICP concert videos, but I thought that's because J's too fat to endure a longer concert. (Glad he's obviously losing pounds now!)
And fot the mug shot - I kind of thought Jamie had had bad heartsickness (heartbroken & homicidal times) and changed things up, eating healthier, doing sports and so on. I think, at all, he's looking healthy and vital, especially in interviews.
In fact, that's what I wish for J and miss in ICP interviews. ICP interviews were always fun to watch, but since J's health ran down, I got the feel of this lazy touch overall. I guess it's exaggerated to reduce everything to J's weight, but it seemed symptomatical to me for the critics I had for recent ICP records. All the more I'm glad, that I really really like Lost, Found, Phantom AND the Outtakes. In combination with J getting healthier again (considering that pic of him at the mall two weeks ago) I'm hopeful for the future. Sometime in the meantime (around 2011 or so) I was close to losing hope for ICP. We'll see, I'm psyched.
(And yes.... maybe that's, well, exaggerated.)

**********SETLIST SPOILER BELOW*************
Last night's show was off the chain! I managed to snag a setlist from the soundboard. Also spoke with the chick who played the synthesizer in the live band who said they were hired by Twiztid separately (so I don't think they'll be joining MNE). Here's the setlist for anyone who's interested: Intro, Afraid of the Dark, Kill Us, Circles, Bad Side, Different, Set By Example, Familiar, Back to Hell, This Is Your Anthem, Respirator, Breakdown, Die MF Die, Rock the Dead, FTS, Get Off of Me, We Don't Die, DARKNESS!!, LDLHA.

That's a dope fuckin setlist. Tho i'd bet that some of it was just for the shows with the band. After that it will probably change up

So happy we had this setlist in Hollywood. The band added so much more to their live show (which I already uphold pretty high); I really hope they consider doing this full time. My voice is still blown from Friday night. Pretty geeked they did Respirator, Get Off Of Me, and Darkness.

That set list is definitely different than the one I saw. I know for sure they didn't play die mf die rock the dead or this is your anthem. They also ended with darkness and not ldlha, although they still did play ldlha.
I saw the show in salt lake and I know they didn't play this is your anthem, respirator, die mf die, rock the dead, get off of me, or darkness, breakdown.. but they brought blaze out for 3 songs fuck I wish I could remember what they played it all matches until this is your anthem. Their changing it up on this tour with the tracks.
Here's the new single too sounds dope

Yep, hands down the best Twiztid show I've been to. No problem! You two hooked me up, appreciate that.
And if anyone's on the fence about going to the show in Albuquerque, DO IT.

the setlist itself is twiztid's most pathetic emo songs.the tour should be called the welcome to depression tour
It's a terrible set list to be sure.
I only would want to hear five of the nineteen songs they picked- Different, We Don't Die, Die MF Die,Rock The Dead and LDLHA.
I never want to hear Breakdown live ever, ever again. My ears are to precious to me.

Jesus christ did boondox record that verse into a tin can? sounds horrible
Everyone embarrassed themselves on that song.
It was so bad that VIP paying ninjas should feel insulted.
That shitty track is supposed to be my VIP bonus exclusive collectors item? Fuck that.
And Boondox sounds like he recorded his verse in Native World's studios.

Single was pretty good, not anything special. They obviously didn't use their studio or something because all of their mics sucked. Though, sound quality wasn't too bad considering that it still was mixed and mastered way better than any of the missing link albums. Much more listenable in that aspect. It's still wicked shit too. I'm so glad that they are still the kings of the wicked shit instead of going down the route of making albums that fit in with Echo Smith and One Direction.
