I think that a great episode could encompass: Rick shows Morty that since there are infinite universes, there are universes where movies are reality. Like there are universes where "Menace II Society" is the whole thing... "Apocalypse Now"... "Meet the Feebles"... etc...

Same with shows. Books. Comics. Plays.

So Rick decides to challenge himself yet again, by facing off in a game of wits and extremities with The Joker. Yes. That Joker.

Try to see who gives less of a fuck than the other. Or who cares more? Who has a breaking point.

Imagine her joining Rick on some crazy adventures. Nothing truly surprises her, she just sometimes says things like "oh, my" when she sees a giant space slug or something.

Because Rick is the smartest tactical and creative genius in the universe, but the emotional intelligence he lacks (or chooses to brush aside in the tradition of science) could be evenly balanced by the psychiatrist character. Imagine a more vulnerable Rick. He wouldn't know what to do with himself lol.... also, he could reciprocate by expanding her own perceptions about what is reality.

I like the Pickle Rick episode. The Susan Sarandon therapist's speech at the end is great. I wonder if we will see more of her character down the line? She was one of the only people to match Rick in some form, this time being more intelligent in emotional studies.
