how many people only heard about gorilla voltage after they signed to MNE? that doesn't necessarily translate into album sells, no. But it's still probably the best deal they're gonna get. It's not like these are huge, mainstream artists that are gonna be selling out stadiums.  

I can totally see Simian Shockers rocking the Super Bowl Halftime Special this year next to Beyonce and Lil Chlamydia.

I think they're all 50/50 after they recoop their investment on the album cost.

Even if it IS true. You have to remember, most artists dont make SHIT off album sales. Its all about the  merch and touring. You ain't touring you aint makin money.

But beyond that, if that number is legit. To a certain extent youre paying for a wider audience.

If I'm not mistaken, mne contracts are 50/50 on profit. Mne pays to make the album but the profit is equal... I'd rather sign to @Nyro 's label (Funny Farm Records) and get 80/20 in artist favor......

As far as the breakup, I don't think it's MNE related.  It sounds like the 2 guys aren't getting along which happens sometimes.  And ClockworC has stated on his personal facebook (Cole Salles) that he is still working on solo music.
