Twiztid pressed the original Mostasteless on vinyl. They had it printed in Europe by using the CD as a master, and then they gave it away for free in mystery boxes which arguably, has more expensive contents inside than the price of the box paid for by the customer. Therefore, no profit means no civil charges laid against them by Joe Bruce and his lawyer.

Good point about Mutant. I think they did grab the master for that. They must have if they can charge money for it.

Abominationz exists on vinyl picture disc and MNE cd format. They also got Freek Show, Green Book and W.I.C.K.E.D.

They do NOT have Mirror Mirror, Mans Myth and Independents Day. They also don't have Phatso, Phatso II, or Chainsmoker. And they likely never will get those masters since ICP wants NOTHING to do with Twiztid anymore. The only way those others could get on vinyl is if Twiztid does to them exactly what they did to Mostasteless to get around any American legal consequences.

To ICP's credit though, even though they put the breaks on the MNE picture disc of Blaze's first EP because MNE didn't properly obtain the master ( or as shown here they were going to and probably even did, but Joe Bruce canceled the deal after Twiztid backed out of the Juggalo march ), they still either gave the Gang Rags master to Blaze permanently at a cost, or they simply rented out the master for a fee to Blaze and MNE; much the same way Island rented out the Milenko and Jeckel Brothers masters to ICP for a free.

BUT, you're correct. Asking for masters is an entirely reasonable request, especially if they're owned by an incredibly petty label who will never under any circumstances repress your albums. Juggalos would LOVE IT if ICP was able to secure their masters from Jive/Island, so it's a bit hypocritical to be against Twiztid wanting to secure their masters from ICP.

Twiztid "blackmailed" ICP for their masters. Nope. Not even close. ICP wasn't putting Twiztid cds back into stock for new fans. Twiztid albums wouldn't have made it onto cd and vinyl and cassette if it weren't for MNE and Jamie and Paul doing what they did. Twiztid masters were nothing more than paperweights around the Psychopathic offices. Joe Bruce basically wanted to sit on the masters and let the physical cd's die. Why? Because he's a whiny cunt who was mad that Twiztid left. Remember, Twiztid started asking for their masters BEFORE the whole Young Wicked and Samantha Bruce thing. So THAT'S how we know that Violent J had no reason to let Twiztid albums die a physical death on his label when they could be given new life on another label. That's why I think he was just being a whiny cunt about it all. Without Twiztid going that route, I would not have all that dope Twiztid on vinyl. I wouldn't have WICKED, Green Book, and Abominationz in my collection. THANK YOU TWIZTID FOR MAKING THAT HAPPEN!!!

HE WASN'T USING TWIZTID MASTERS TO MAKE NEW ALBUMS AND MAKE MONEY. THIS IS WHAT 17%ERS ALWAYS IGNORE. THAT'S WHY TWIZTID WAS JUSTIFIED IN DOING WHAT THEY DID TO GET THEIR MASTERS.

Would this Juggalo seriously expect me to believe that if ICP could have pulled a Twiztid move against Island records and gotten THEIR MASTERS BACK, that NOT A SINGLE JUGGALO WOULD CHEER ICP ON FOR DOING THAT? hahahahaha. Give me a break.
