Ex-professional vapor here, lol… Is vaping healthier then regular cigarettes?… Yes, thats a fact. Is vaping without health risks? Right now its still unsure, but more and more studies are showing vaping does have some health effects on you. Even for myself… I had to stop vaping due to constant headaches, ect, ect… and quitting vaping was a BITCH!!!

Moving right along, I am not a nicotine user, but have been vaping the sacred herb for over a year now. The first vape cartridge I tried was a free sample. I have found that vaping herb oils and flower and concentrates does not get me as high, hut its convenient and sometimes tasty. Plus it doesn’t stink up the joint. And it is inconspicuous. So far I have vaped

Old school flower still gets me higher. I am about to get a new cartridge soon.

But yeah, mostly its a status thing. Peeps trying to look down n cool. I just assume toke a bong.

true and it made me smile when I read this  BUT I must throw in the fact that if you ever plan on being tobacco free… I would recommend staying very far away from smokeless products, if you ever tried quitting cigarettes you know had hard it can be… it’s like 4X worse with smokeless, you just get that much more nicotine from it then smoking…

I used to “smoke” ecigs when they first came out with no problem (back when the model was that they came in individual fancy boxes and you bought replacement “filter” stems). Got tired of trying to track down the refills and got sick of the implied “scheme” of it all; so I went back to regular cigarettes. But later, when ecigs and vaporizers started to became a whole big industry, I attempted to quit again with one of these new fangled, disposable ones… I have YET to not choke to death on the damn things. I’ve tried a few brands (whatever there is at the gas station to try anyway) and I can’t even use them into their first recharge. NOT because of the amount of vapor but that it just scratches the shit out of the back of my throat…!

Now, I know some might say, that’s an ecig not a vapor machine/mod/rig…thing (‘er whatever). But I’d hate to invest money in a rig of my own unless I knew whether or not I’d even be able to use the damn thing!

Is the choking something that can be remedied with a proper setup or am I just not able to use vapor for some reason or another?

no those gas station Ecigs always fucked my throat up as well, but with those fancy vaping devices it is much smother, and most vape stores let you sample the product before you actually send 50$ on a “rig” so if your interested I would go check it out and see if you cant try before you by to be sure it will be right for you.

With Nicorette inhalers, nasal sprays, lozenges, patches, gum, mouth mist, etc., I doubt Big Pharmaceutical will rest until there are nicotine eye drops, suppositories, and tampons.

I haven’t smoked for about a year now thanks to vaping. Basically all it is, is smoking without all the tar, harmful chemicals, etc.. It’s just nicotene (which by itself isn’t really harmful) and oil. I always like to reference my aunt’s story. She smoked for 50 years and about a year and a half ago started coughing up blood (and not just a little bit, enough to soak a papertowel). The doctor’s told her she had to quit or it was going to kill her so she went out and got a vape. Now, a year and a half later the doctor’s tell her that her lungs look 100% better and she’s having no health issues whatsoever.

For those interested in trying it (and if you’re a non-smoker don’t try it, there’s no reason to become addicted to nicotene if you’re not already), stay away from the cheap disposables at the gas station. Go to a vape shop and they can set you up with what you need. I know alot of people think the people who blow the big clouds are just doing it for show but really, if you have a device that blows the bigger clouds it’s called sub-ohming. With that you get the same amount of nicotene with a much, much smoother draw. I started out on a non sub-ohm device and had to have much higher nicotene levels which would burn the throat pretty bad. A good setup is gonna have an initial cost of $100-$150 but after that it’s much cheaper than buying a pack of cigarettes a day. 

Weird this thread got bumped… O-Pen Vape started making a propylene glycol-free THC oil cartridge called Reserves, and a couple months ago I got a free sample of a Hybrid cartridge, 420 mg. I lost it up until my wife found it this very morning. Shit go for $87 before tax so I’m pretty stoked. It’s pure THC and average at about 65%, as opposed to their usual cut cartridges whicheck top off at about 37%.
