calling someone names on a forum board is one thing. and we've been over that.

stop trying to justify smacks actions. he stepped over the line.

Smack brings a lot of life to this forum.

GanjaGoblin handles it perfectly by sending Smack a message every now and then in a thread if he thinks things are going too far.

He doesn't make antagonistic threats and/or start to randomly delete shit.

As for scruffy apretiation. I never met him, but he's fuckin' cool. Always has good advice. I always appreciate his advice he's given me in the past. And producing a couple of my tracks, fuckin' great, thanks man.

I can tell you the whole story.

It started when @patjoyce and @the_almighty_smack were filling up every single thread with rant after rant after rant of the same repetitive insults at one another. Every single thread was being filled up with pages upon pages of mindless arguments and baseless accusations that went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

People got sick of it. Most notably is @verytwiztidraven who had grown completely sick of it and had been threatening to bail on the forum. Eventually @scruffy  cracked down on it in Scruffy fashion and told both @patjoyce and @the_almighty_smack to cut it out. Multiple times. @patjoyce eventually attempted to stop for the sake of the forum while @the_almighty_smack decided to continue his thread diluting tirade as some sort of rebellion. This caused a lot of the forum to split over the issue of censorship. Many wanted to delete and/or out right ban the trouble starter while the others thought it would ruin the free spirit of the forum. Eventually all the fighting on the forum had caused both @luckynumbrxiii (he started a lot to be fair) and @novocaine (he was only going to take a temporary break to escape the chaos) to leave the forum. This set @scruffy on a sort of break down and he decided to take his power and forcefully censor people (mostly @the_almighty_smack because he was still running his mouth and derailing threads) to prove a point: if people don't cut the mouth running, petty flame war bullshit this forum will be forcefully censored all the time when people keep bothering @scottied about it.

Eventually everything went back to normal. @novocaine returned, @patjoyce disappeared and everybody started ignoring @the_almighty_smack and he eventually became a decent part of the forum. But something happened. In @ocj_brendan 's now accidentally deleted thread @the_almighty_smack made some sort of comment that caused @ocj_brendan to make up the lie that the people at the gathering found something out about him and that he became an on running joke. This, just as @ocj_brendan wanted, set @the_almighty_smack on another on going tantrum. I guess his predictable were deleted by @scruffy from @ocj_brendan 's thread at his request, which also warranted a PM from @scruffy to tell @the_almighty_smack to knock it off. Still inflamed by petty things, @the_almighty_smack did a lot of research on @scruffy and found out where he lived, where he works, and he stole a few @scruffy pics to make some admittedly funny memes. After getting @scruffy 's Facebook profile banned and make fake phone calls to @scruffy 's place of employment to make false complaints, @scruffy retaliated by deleting many of @the_almighty_smack 's posts.

Don't listen to anything @miklo-velka says. He's extremely biased and if you pay attention you'll notice he'll take anybody's side if they are opposing @scruffy . He has some kind of grudge that he won't ever let go of. I am not kidding when I say that he is seriously still bitter that @scruffy uses a large vocabulary because he finds it to be condescending.

Tried to be as unbiased about it as I could.

I don't want anybody to be banned. I would like Smack to stay, if he would just let it da fuck go.

@lucem-ferre - that seems relatively unbiased. i like how you typed my name and then typed aussie asshole again. i know im an asshole, no need to keep pointing it out lol.

i know smack had hunted him down and did a few memes and found out where he worked, but i wasnt aware that he actually prank phone called his place of work. that just FURTHER proves that he has crossed a line in a major major way.

Even when i took my break the first time (actually i think it was the second or third time), i was adamantly against censorship and told certain people as much. i don't think we should be censoring what is said in the forum, but at some point it HAS to happen. what happens next? smack calls bomb threats on scruffys house? drug tip offs? he's already crossed the line and broken one law (not sure if its the same in Australia, but pranking companies for fake deliveries carries a relatively hefty fine in AUS), so where does it end. we have an entire year left till the gathering. when people stop paying attention to him, he will step it up another notch.

Then again, he probably should be banned. And, for the sake of consistency, perhaps ban Pat Joyce too for when Pat made a fake profile on Facebook disguised as Smack and told all of Smack's family and friends he was a pedophile.
