Ive got a buddy that literally cannot drink in any watering hole/bar/dive within 10 miles of his house. He is one of those profiles nobody else fits (375 6’3″ FAT BOI) and because of this every time a bouncer (who is usually smaller than him) kicks him out they remember him (Im sure his face/hand tattoos dont help) and get their small man syndrome on the next time he sees him. The bans wear off around a year and a half later usually, and are promptly renewed after the next time he acts a drunk fool. I just wanted to share.

I was only so perturbed with security because the other two times I’ve been caught smoking by security, they simply took the joint/blunt. This particular guard felt the need to grab my homie’s arm from behind and start pulling him toward the door while snatching the j out of his mouth with the other hand.

My homie only got caught because we were toward the back while AMB was opening, so it was easy for security to spot us. Last time I’ve ever made that mistake. Haven’t made it out to a HOB spot yet but I’ll keep that in mind if I do.

Smoking during an AMB set when no one is on the floor sounds pretty dumb to me…patience is a virtue you and your boys will learn with time…I only usually spark up during the last/next to last act to decrease the likelihood of being spotted. All you can do is live and learn I suppose chalk it up as a loss and go stomp out the security guy when hes at his daughter’s Bat Mitzvah…he will never see it coming….

You do realize that some venue can get in trouble/shut down for allowing people to smoke inside. But we have to different views on things. So we can just agree to disagree.
What about the people who do not smoke? Should they just have to deal with it?

Then you talk about smoke around non-smokers? The way I see it is: if you don’t like to get hit in a pit, have other peoples sweat get on you, smoke in your face, etc don’t go to a show. This sort of shit happens and if you don’t like it you’re a bitch.

Yeah I smoke but my brother has athsma so I and all my boys just have always been considerate to non smokers because someone else could be in the same shoes as him…but then again I try to be considerate to all strangers…so idk if im a good sample for society as a whole…

I dont mind getting hit by the pit but why should my 120 pound girlfriend get hit or my brother get smoke blown in his face because you and your friends want a drunk slamming good time. That is a general statement. Most people do blame security even when it is their fault. If a person gets caught smoking and gets kicked out that would be that persons fault not security. As they would just be doing there job

Who said i had a problem with it. I was stating opinions on both sides of this topic. I have been to a shit load of shows and almost no one ever smokes on the floor. Most tend to go to the bathrooms.
The only bullshit that is coming out in this forum is from you. I always find it funny when people have to resort to name calling to try and get a point a cross.

The closest ive came to getting kicked out was the old shit tour and it was literally as soon as we got there. We are sitting in the car downing a pint of bourbon with a cop unknowingly right next to us. One of the dudes with us gets out and takes a piss in the parking lot just feet away from him. He wasnt amused and it was up to me to diffuse it cuz my friends I was with are fucking cavemen
