What do you think of the movie JFK (1991)?

Hi there,

I watched it and then did my research to find out how much of the story is based on a true story. It seems that 95% of it is made up, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I don't know what Oliver Stone and the writers were trying to accomplish though.

I mean how are we the audience suppose to take the conspiracy theory seriously when almost all of it was made up for the movie? Or are we not suppose to take it as a true story and accept it as a fictionalized entertainment, with nothing more profound to say?

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

I liked the movie, but honestly, I think the actual story is the gov't did it. JFK wanted to eliminated the federal reserve, so the reserve had him eliminated first. I also think George Bush Sr. had some sort of hand in it.

Oliver Stone is a story teller.

I dont think any of his movies are super accurate.

Kinda like concentrating the story so u understand wtf ppl were feeling

Nobody close to jim thought that was Jim Morrison in The Doors movie. But its a pretty good summation and interruption through American eyes.

Hes telling u a story.
