I suffer from major depression, and I'm bipolar and I've had fucked up things happen to me through my childhood and I may also be schizophrenic, never really wanted to actually get that one checked out. So I know what it's like but if I say something completely fucked up then I deal with the consequences and I can't use depression as a crutch because I'm not the only one who deals with it. Just imagine if I say something completely fucked up to somebody else who suffers from manic depression and it drives them into the pit of tenebris. I typically keep my fucked up emotions in fucked up artistic expression. It is good to see somebody who can be understanding when I say something out of my character that I wouldn't say otherwise and I try to do that with others as well, but at the same time it can't be a crutch if I'm aware of how fucked up things I'm saying are. It's like, take control of the situation and quit playing the blame game because in the end, regardless of whether or not depression influenced it it's still your actions that you are completely aware of. Depression isn't a full on psychosis. You take time away from people and become a recluse, that's you taking control. She didn't.

Plus, Tila is an attention whore. Everything she does is a desperate grab at attention, which could be seen as a mental illness in it's own, but really what isn't these days?

Self loathing sucks... It can make you a very self-destructive person.

Another notable figure was Prince Harry that wore the Nazi arm band...

Though it make a little bit more sense than her doing it since the British royal family is really German. Queen Victoria herself was entirely of German descent, and she married her first cousin, Prince Albert, a German Prince. The current Queen's real surname was "Wettin", however, high anti-German feeling among the people during World War I prompted the Royal Family to abandon all titles held under the German crown and to change German-sounding titles and house names for English-sounding versions.

Once again....

Like every single neurological problem.

It effects different people...

In different ways.

The fact that anyone comes here and says, "I have depression, and I never did that," shows that you don't know anything about to topic.

Okay, yeah.  I have depression and I am able to fight it and go to work like a normal person and everything.  But then I do come home and lay in bed awake suicidal and hate filled.  And sometimes I say fucked up things.  I do take responsibility for those things, but I'm not going to say I was in full control of myself at the time either.  It's just not true.  Mental health and stress is a huge problem in this country, and denying it is what makes it worse and worse.

Unless you have psychotic depression you have full control. Depression is very common so unless I'm psychotic, which I might be I don't know, I can't really use my depression as a scapegoat especially when I know that I could be saying things to depressed people who already feel like shit. If you really feel as though you don't have control you probably should seek professional help.

I understand man, depression sucks. And it's like, it ruins any bit of inspiration and desire to do anything and when it finally gives you a break you always know in the back of your head it's going to come back.
