Yea it would give away too much. Insomnia is tied heavily with the dark tower. Ive been wanting to read Full Dark No Stars but i gotto finish The Shining first. I dont know how he makes them characters so familiar like im really digging the Shining cuz Jack T. reminds me of my dad a couple years ago and i can feel the pain that jack has cuz its so familiar. What character do you relate to the most out of all the books?

Hey man, I forgot all about Eyes of the Dragon (Slumerican, shame on us!), yeah, that book is the shit too. He wrote that book for his daughter so he had something cool to read to her at night. Guess when your Stephen King the children's authors put you to sleep instead of your daughter. Drew Barrymore was friends with her back when she was filming a Stephen King movie called Cat's Eye. She said she would sleep over there and he would tell them the scariest bedtime stories, would keep you up and give you nightmares, but she said it in a good way. Imagine having Stephen King telling you goodnight stories? It's just fitting to me that he scares the shit out of his own kids as well, it's only fair haha

Full Dark No Stars is excellent as well, all four stories in there are great. Slumerican, you read that homie? That's a good one dude, as for what character Irelate to the most, I'll have to think about it, give me a minute. That's a tough question, a fun one though.

Theres a Thrift shop in Kyle tx that sells used books and i bought like 5 books for $1.25 so each was .25 cents which was cool cuz usually they are like 3 or 4 at a half price books. But most of the ones i got were think so it might be a while before i buy again. I read on King's website that they were making a movie of Eyes of the Dragon for SyFy  that would be awesome.

Back to the Dark Tower i really like the part on The Gunslinger  and the Man in black have that long palaver about the universe and how our our finite minds cant penetrate the infinitous u know its toward the end. Theres parts in there that are similar to that intro part on Halloween on Military The maggets and the cheez part. It blew my mind when i read it and i love how the story goes through some other popular artists stories and you see all the influences like the Emerald City part on Wizard and Glass dang its too dope i could talk about it all day.

I relate most to Gerald Burlingame, I'm not dead but a girl kicked me in the balls once and I've been bitten by a dog too. Nah I'm just kidding. I'm gonna go with Ralph Roberts from Insomnia. I have insomnia too and while it's not as bad as his, and I'm nowhere near as old, but he spends largs amounts of time by himself and Ido that too. Probably why I read so much. He didn't really felt like he belonged where he was either, I've felt like that my whole life. Ralph Roberts is my homie, I like that.

Can u imagine having insomnia to the point where u hallucinate and dont know if u are awake or dreaming thats some cold ish man. wouldnt want that. Gerald's Game is wild that dude the creepy guy is described so well i could see him in my head when i read it the bulbous head and pursed lips  man just thinking bout it gives me chills. i gave my mother in law that book and she flipped out once she got to the eclipse part and was like why did u give me this? I was like its a tales of a strong woman and here will to survive all she saw was pedophilia. Go figure.

Been wanting to read Dolores Claiborne to see how they tie in. I really like them sister books that occur during the time or connect some how to other books like The Giver Gathering Blue and The Messenger or The Regulators and Desperation. yea i love books.

Right  This book is like tryna understand fucking donnie darko lmao. I do love that concept that entire worlds can be contained in a single blade of grass. Or a rose if it do ya(lol).

It is chalk full of pop culture references. sneetches from harry potter. The wolves looking like Dr. Doom. Hey Jude showing up in different worlds.

there really isn't much of a tie in just a tiny one. What I loved about geralds game is while that man was driving her fucking crazy he also in a way gave her the will she needed to finally give that extra push to get outta the handcuffs. Wow what a torturous way that would be to go out. thirsty as a motha fucker. hungry. Youd sell your soul just to get up and move around or even change positions

Donnie Darko's a good reference in a way, that movie tripped me out. As for the conversation between Roland and the dark man, that shit was just brilliant. First time through I went back and read that again after I first read that part in the book, it was just so cool and hard.to get it all the first time around. Not so hard to get, was just so bugged out Iwanted to read it again, make sure I didn't miss anything. Don't want to say too much and spoil it for anyone though, imagine if someone did that to us? I'd be pissed. I'd throw the fuckin book at him, hard.

Yeah dude, she knew she had to get gone before nightfall, because that thing was coming back, and this time it won't just stand and watch from the corner! Holy shit dude. Reading when she was cutting her wrists and how graphic and detailed he was about her ripped flesh getting caught on the handcuff, dude that shit still fucks with me. Without Raymond Joubert in the corner paying her a nightly visit, she might not have been so motivated.

That part wasn't as hard to get. its just the time travel that was tricky for me. and the concept of dying and waking up in another world. Once you understand  about the Keystone world it makes it a little easier.

The way he describes thirst in Gerald's Game makes me wonder if Stephen King put himself through a long period of time with no water just to know how to so accurately describe it. I know that sounds crazy but think about how well he describes her thirst, it fuckin made me thirsty. The straw she made was genius too, I tried it when Iread it. No big surprise, it works! Not well, but still. Try it, be like Jessie

Hey that was a good idea man, now nobody can say you fucked up you fucked up lol. I've been thirsty, nothin like that though. Reading that book Iwould put it down and just go get a glass of water and drink that shit. Reading that book made me appreciative that I actually could, like this one's for you Jess! Weird how books can make you appreciate certain things.

Yup but those are the parts that really make you want to get throught the books though. yea when he was describing the cramps i was like dang i can feel all that shes going through.

Speaking of feeling a passage or description in IT when Eddie tries to jump in the fight in front of the drug store and one of the bullies shoves rocks in his mouth and rubs them around dang i could deffinately feel that as ai was reading out imagine rocks scraping against your teeth and being winded. WOW

The whole time travelling bit throught the Tower was one of the reasons i really liked the books. Im a big fan of Time Travelling books i love how every move u make in the past sets off a reaction in the future and it all happens for a reason or the what iff things were done different idea is great.

Even 9/11 was in the The Dark Tower in the Song of Susanah putting that orb in the locker and at some point it would explode. Thats some great stuff man art imitating reality. Is there another book that deals with time travel?
