First Image Surfaces for Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West

The comedy Western stars MacFarlane opposite Neil Patrick Harris.

Behold, the first photo from the upcoming Seth MacFarlane comedy Western, A Million Ways to Die in the West. The image shows MacFarlane squaring off against Neil Patrick Harris while Amanda Seyfried and Charlize Theron look on. Look:

MacFarlane plays a cowardly sheep farmer (herder?) who backs down from a fight with Harris, prompting his lady (Seyfried) to leave him for his rival. Theron’s character, a gunslinger’s wife, rolls into town and helps MacFarlane find his courage. MacFarlane co-wrote and directed the movie, which comes out May 30, 2014. It also stars Sarah Silverman, Giovanni Ribisi, and Liam Neeson as Theron’s outlaw husband.

‘Ted 2′ Gets June 2015 Release Date

Universal Pictures will release the follow-up to Seth MacFarlane‘s highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time on June 26, 2015. MacFarlane returns as writer, director and co-star of Ted 2 along with star Mark Wahlberg from Universal and Media Rights Capital. Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild return to write. MacFarlane produces alongside Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber, as well as John Jacobs and Jason Clark. The first pic made about $550 million worldwide after its June 2012 release.
