So I'm going to see this movie tomorrow night for its special one night showing before the actual release. Don't know if anyone else is, or even interested in the movie for that matter.

That link should provide the necessary info, hope it's not sold out if you intend on seeing it.
But yeah I'll get back to y'all with my thoughts on it afterwards. Been a fan of Zombie's previous cinematic endeavors, this one looks promising as well.

I thought 31 was enjoyable..same problems I always have with zombie is his writing and his stiff acting wife. Dude really needs to hire a writer. overall i liked it..Doom Head was fucking amazing and one of the best villains in a long time...chainsaw clowns were dope too...I want to get the blu ray hopefully will be NC 17 version...way too many quick cuts and zooms made the fight scenes nauseating to watch...i hope that is fixed in the directors cut.

He was performing in Texas with Manson I think a little while back. Even crappy seats were crazy priced. I like his music but not at the prices they had.As for movies as long as he doesn't try and butcher another Halloween flick I am cool with it.
john carpenter called out zombie and said hes a piece of shit...haha.

I thought the Halloween remakes were way better than the original
There's a gateway in our minds
That leads somewhere out there, far beyond this plane

IMO, Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes are DOGSHIT. Like the rest of his movies. His VIDEOS and ART DESIGN are the fuckin' BOMB!!! But he can't direct a movie fer shit.
The ONLY thing we should thank him for is bringing to us Sid Hague and Capt. Howdy....
Yeah, his wife is cute with a sweet ass but so the fuck what? She's great for music video visuals but can't act fer shiz!

I agree...the first half of the first Zombie Halloween was ok then went into remake mode that was fucking terrible. Part 2 was shit for sure. The OG Halloween is fucking amazing and one of the best classic horror films ever made.Zombie has a good eye for detail and set/art design but is not a very good director or writer.
House of 1000 corpses I thought was his best film. Then 31 would be my second favorite of his. Doom Head! Just as good if not better than Captain Spaulding. oh and how can you forget DR. SATAN!!!!!!!!!

Quite possibly the worst movie i have seen all year(And i saw ghostbusters in theaters) immediately when doomhead was talking i noticed something, one shot his lower jaw is covered in blood, than it cuts away to another angle and its dry, than back to blood soaked, than dry. That is just sloppy filmmaking and it sets the tone for the entire clusterfuck of a film. Once again he shoves his badly aging wife down our throats and tries to portray her as a badass sex symbol. Too bad she is a absolutely atrocious actor. The Gore scenes are incredibly watered down and feel tame. So they overcompensate with over the top vulgar dialogue that just comes across as laughable. The action scenes were seemingly shot by someone with parkinson's, the camera is shaking so much its impossible to understand whats happening. The story is basically a cheap rip off of the running man meets the purge.
0/10.......Not a single fucking redeeming thing to this shitshow of a fuckfest
as for his wife having a sweet ass.....watch lords of salem, that is a completely flat, saggy, pancake ass

Correction, thank you. I meant Captain Spaulding. Capt. Howdy is Dee Snider's character in the equally shitass, "Strangeland".
As far as Zombie's Halloween remake is concerned, *I didn't think it was so damn clever that he took the first 5MINUTES of the original movie and made that his ENTIRE movie. Halloween had (at one point) differentiated itself from the other "horror/slasher/monster" movies by being the more cerebral and psychological one. Michael Myers was a "real" person escaped from an institution and had the great actor Donald Pleasence (even though he seemed to enjoy legitimizing shitty B movies) chasing him around. Of course with the popularity of Jason Vorhees and Freddy Kruger on the rise, they turned him into another undead juggernaut and then Rob Zombie jumped on the "fill in all the blanks" train and decided to try to rewrite Michael...
"House of 1,000 Corpses" (IMO) is just a series of set pieces; vignettes. Sig Hague's scenes are the only ones that make the movie even worth repeat viewing (and seeing Crris Hardwick get murdered over and over again on film is always fun too). And Oh-Muh-Lord... when what's her face wakes up dressed in that Alice In Wonderland pinafore... I just checked the fuck out. Really? REALLY?! So Zombie wants us to believe that a bunch of inbred redneck slashers constructed an entire Wonderland themed dungeon under their house populated by undead surgeons and gimps that are just there waiting for the clown man and his buddies to push some bitch in the proper attire into their torture hole...? Looks great in pictures but gets real ugly in motion.

I enjoyed it. Doom Head was a cold motherfucker, I'd love to see more of him.
I also watched a Fathom screening and they screened a small portion of the making of documentary that'll be on the Blu-Ray/DVD. He sounded jaded as fuck that his Philadelphia Flyers movie was scrapped and filmed a movie for the sake of filming a movie.
Also with Sheri Moon, fucking love her and her pancake ass. She's not a terrible actor, I'm just tired of seeing her in every one of his films. I had a hard time rooting for her at times simply because the movie felt exactly like 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects and she's a psycho bitch in both.
