I'm more of an Xbox guy, but I think PS4 is doing better now because of it's exclusives. Both are pretty much the same console with different skins though.

Yeah but all the games nowadays suck/disappointing/or unfinished. Everyone rides that "The Last Of Us" bandwagon like that game was the greatest thing since toilet seats. It really wasn't. I couldn't even get through it, it was so boring. And the special infected were just bland. The only other game that is still worth playing is GTA V, and that's been out for 3 years now. Every other game is Call Of Duty or Assassin's Creed, which I find both to be boring. After one year spent with a PS4, I found myself using it more for just watching YouTube videos and Netflix rather than gaming.

Dante's Inferno is a great game. What's more exciting than traveling all the levels of hell and slaying demons? There was actually a bit of controversy when that game first came out, because of the aborted baby demons you have to kill in the game.

Sold my PS4. This generation of gaming is garbage. Going back to PS2, when games were fun...and finished.

I have no frame of reference as I've literally never played anything after PS2... but to nostalicize, I loved the PS2. PS1, eh, I enjoyed smoking blunts as a teen and watching Lara Croft jump sideways back and forth for no reason, but PS2 has SO MUCH variety of great games.

Dragon's Quest 8 was one of my favorite RPG's ever. Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was great. I dunno, part of me enjoys taking out monsters and leveling up, finding secrets. It's like an analogy for my take on real life.

The Wii, I guess, is the most "current" system I have, sadly. I rarely ever play it. Some games are great, but I mostly used the NES and SNES and 64 retro downloads on it.

That being said, NES & SNES are beyond awesome. SNES probably being my favorite system ever.

64 had some marvels, but few and far between.

Genesis mostly blew. And the 'C' button always stuck.

Atari had it's moments for the time.

GameCube impressed me not at all. I barely gave it a chance, so there's that.

Game Gear was dookie.

GameBoy had some greats.

VirtualBoy was VirtualBoy.

Nintendo DS was excellent. Still have it, but the bottom right touchscreen doesn't register anymore, so I couldn't beat a certain level of a game, so I gave it all up.

Yeah, PS2 definitely had the best console of that era. I'd put GameCube in second because that was the last great nintendo console. Xbox was the most innovative and had some of the coolest features but did not have the games to back it up.

One game the original Xbox had that the PS2 did not was Land Of The Dead: Road To Fiddler's Green. I know it probably wasn't anything special, but still I love just about any zombie games. And I do believe that was the only game based on a George Romero film.

Another one I never got to play was Stubbs The Zombie Rebel Without a Pulse. Nah Xbox original had some good games too, now that I'm thinking back.

Thoroughly enjoying my PS2. Was playing Destroy All Humans last night, and I kept thinking, "I know this would be a hundred times better if I had some weed". But it's still awesome even without weed.

Yeah man Destroy All Humans is a great game loved that 1950s sci-fi movie feel and piss take. Not sure why the follow up games on the 360 and PS3 got such a bad rep, I've yet to play them though. A new one with a mod where you can play as Bender would be a wicked one.

ATM I'm playing older stuff Tony Hawk American Wasteland on the 360 (xbox backwards compatible title) and just got my first PS3 last week just to play the PS exclusives so started  Uncharted which I think is pretty wicked but the environment/backgrounds get very repetitive, feel like every shootout takes place in the same green covered temple ruin. Also by playing this game so long after it's release for the first time I realised that the amazing revival of the Tomb Raider series was literally someone just making uncharted with Lara Croft and adding a slight 'survival' theme.

Also Killzone 2 - which I'm not feeling and can't understand why it gets good reviews. Story is boring all bad guys look the same so that gets boring and to grey and dark in every level so far. I LOVED the first Killzone on PS2 and actually got into the story for what it was but what I really liked and miss the most from the first was being able to choose different characters with a different back story, appearance and abilities. It made killzone stand out from other FPS now KZ2 just feels like every other FPS when you are forced into one nameless anybody who just fighting the Helgahst, I mean one of the characters in the forst game was someone who turned his back on the Helgahst and started fighting against them and if I remember correctly this made the other main characters in the game just a little uneasy and trustworthy about this guy which gave more depth and realism.

And of course TWISTED METAL !! one of the best games ever from the 90s (this was the main reason I wanted to get a PS3 at some point as lets face it the PS control pad is pretty fucking awful compared the the 360s)

I was so disappointed in how short the new Twisted Metal is. Me and a friend beat it in coop in just a few hours. Plus a very small character selection on it too. When I say me and my friend beat it in coop in just a few hours I mean that with every character. Took us only a day.

The original Xbox had morrowind and both knights of the old republic games on it.  Almost every top 50 rpgs of all time list has all three of those on it.

Speaking of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, I've been playing it on PS2 today, and I was doing the missions for Mindy at the Skate Ranch, and I noticed something. The pyramid, with the neversoft eye logo inside it...looks just like the illuminati eye. Seriously, go to the skate ranch and look at it. ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED, in one of my favorite video games too. Damn it, why does everything I like have to be associated with that shit?

Is anyone playing Rockband 4?

How fucking great would it be to play some ICP songs on RB, but would be censored of course.

Well, "Let's Go All The Way" would probably be the best song for that. There's no swear words in that one.
