Does anyone else watch this on Netflix?
If not, check it out!
If so, what do y'all think?
Did he do it?
Is he guilty?

Thoughts??
Opinions????

I've seen the first couple of episodes, not sure where it's going yet. There was a Radiolab podcast about the same case a few years back that was fucking unbelievable, it was looking at it from the perspective of the first victim and the concept was what it's like to be completely sure of something that's important and then it turns out you're wrong.

Gotta watch the Dr. Phil episode about it. They present  A LOT of additional evidence that was shown in court but not shown on the Netflix series.
Like they found Steven's sweat under her hood (and you can't duplicate sweat)..
Also, way more shit that happened in his past that we never knew about.

I'm on the fence still...

Me and my wife watched this. And I'm not surprised that police/government has gotten THIS corrupt. I don't believe Steven did it. The whole thing stinks of corruption. It makes no sense for a guy who just got his freedom back after doing 18 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, to rape and kill a young woman three weeks after being released. And the police  were so goddamn sure that this woman was tied to Steven's bed and raped, yet, there was NOTHING to prove that. No DNA, no nothing. And there would have been something.

Thing that really pisses me off is Steven's nephew, Brendan. Can this kid get his fucking story straight? Now he's locked up to.

I binged watched the fuck outta this!

First off, I don't think he did it. I know there was some evidence that came out later, and Ill take that into consideration.  However, there's this thing called "without reasonable doubt" I didn't see any of that in this case.  Both side were wishy washy, yes.  But the DNA on the key and in the SUV was BULLSHIT!!!  Oh and they found the key like 3 days later after searching that trailer up and down previously.  A car key WITH BLOOD ON IT!  haha my god.  And that god damn fuckin dumb ass retarted fucking nephew of his.  I cant tell you how many times i wanted to punch my own TV because of how fucking stupid that kid was, I understand he's only a child, but my god Kid listen to what your saying!  And those cops knew, it was like a pack of wolves going after a baby kitten in that interrogation room.  Anyone with common sense could tell that kid was only saying what the cops wanted to hear.  Then after all that he denies it, then he admits to it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!  That's when I jumped outta my couch and fucking lost it!!!  haha  And that mom of the nephew, C'mon MOM talk some sense into that kid!  uughh.  Do you really think for one second, that kid in the midst of all that a women bleeding all over the place with a sliced neck, and tied to the bed....could actually grow a boner and start pumping??????  Lets be real here folks/jury....I promise THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!

This was one of the most craziest things I've ever watched on TV.  The definition of a wig blower. popcornpopcornpopcorn

Agreed!
I pretty much agree with most of what you were saying... However... I am on the fence. It could have been that Steven DID do it and the police knew they would have a hard time convicting him because of the previous fuck up. Thus they planted some evidence to be sure he was convicted... which they fucked up.

I don't know if he did it or not but I'm still checking into it every so often.

There was a Dateline episode about it too.

I think he did do it. Just cause of the way he looks. I don't like him.

Never watched the show and know nothing of the case, but I did google his picture and he looks like he would be guilty. I would convict him just off of that.

Maybe that's why I never make it through jury selection.
