.. got it all wrong. It was horrible. I love the first movie.
Jim Carrey had an interesting, funny performance. But he was underused and dispatched by an awful shit character, like an embarrassing female Zangief.
The tone was off, the visuals, the camera work, the filters, the plot, the acting. Damn I really wanted to enjoy it.

I like the first half of the first one, but after that it went downhill for me, so I really don't have an interest in seeing the sequel.My girl wants to see it, so im sure I'll end up watching it eventually

I liked kick ass 2, nice and dark. Dumb and Dumber to got panned by critics, but I haven't seen it. I do know for the first one they filmed like 8 hours worth of movie and only picked the funniest parts, and they did not do that for this one.

When I saw Dumb & Dumber 2 coming out, I kind of got that feeling that everyone gets about old franchises coming back after a long hiatus. Like the new Robocop? Barf inducing. Next up will be Ghostbusters 3, even with Harold Ramis passing away this year, they'll still get that out somehow, and it'll suck more ass than the remake of The Fog.

theres been about twenty greenlights for ghostbusters sequels and remakes since 1992 or so.

Ghostbusters III shouldnt happen. Especially without Murray.
Beetlejuice 2, Labyrinth 2, and all the other long-delayed cash-in sequels also shouldnt happen.

Agreed. Especially Beetlejuice 2. I still love Beetlejuice to this day, (who else thinks he is a Juggalo? lol) But too much time has gone by, and I don't believe that even in the early nineties Beetlejuice 2 would've been a good idea. Hell, does Michael Keaton even do movies anymore?

Beetlejuice.
a sequel to any of them would be awful. Rustlas was much anticipated but I really dont like it. The humor is a completely different shade than Hustlas. I know some think vice versa, but thats my pinyun.
