You're absolutely right about those women being poor female role models too, but that does get bitched about. And you don't think that it being societally acceptable for women to physically abuse men, for it to be even made comical, is fucked up when even self defense against a female attacker is met with a proverbial lynch mob? I just want the double standards to stop. Like, if you want equality be equal not better. That's kinda what equality means right? I don't hate women, I'm not a sexist, and I wish people didn't meet me with that shit whenever I try to speak up on this. Sorry if I didn't/am still not conveying my point properly. 

i use reviews to judge whether or not it seems like a game I would like and I never take the reviewers score into consideration. I look at them to see features and content. The only exception to this is Adam Sessler. I trust his word because I grew up on the dude and our taste in games happen to be very similar.

Theres different facets to it apparently. ALL of it is fucking pointless. This shit has been going on for years in the entertainment industry. Shit is nothing new.

i see what your saying but the way it works is people tend to think, that men can take it better that women. were still raised with the notion that men are the dominant figure of strength in our society, there for when a women attacks a man, he is to use the necessary means to subdue and restrain her, because man is stronger than woman to actually "fight back" is wrong. they can't defend against a man who is actually fighting her, he has an unfair advantage, if he actually hits her. if a man is attacked by a woman it is perfectly acceptable for him to only use the force necessary to subdue and restrain to protect his own well being. 

no matter what either side has to say there is no equality and in my opinion never will be. and TBH i think that's a good thing, i don't hate women either, and i don't think i'm better than them, but i was raised to think you NEVER hit a women no matter what. if she attacks you you find a way to leave the situation. if that means you need to grab her hands and use an arm lock type of thing to get her to stop hitting long enough to make an exit, that's okay. but generally speaking males are stronger than women, it a biological thing. our bodies mature differently during puberty which causes this difference. it's not sexism, it's science. so a man using that difference to actually fight a woman is wrong. and if people actually start thinking of women as equals, IN THIS SPECIFIC AREA, than we will have far too many instances of men actually hurting women "in self defense". I've seen the way men go about "self defense", and its not defense it's more akin to fighting, and you don't fight a woman. 

but i do agree with you that a woman can abused a man and that is wrong, especially when she knows he won't actually fight back because of the above reasons. but the way the world works is if a man is getting abused by a woman, it's funny. think back to elementary school the chants of "____ got beat up by a girl!!! HAHAHAHA" it's ingrained in our minds from an early age that boys are stronger than women and when boys get beat up by girls it shows poorly on their masculinity,which in turn is something to laugh at. and that's not going to change.
