Only saw the first episode, but thought they nailed it. Still need to see the rest.
It starts a little slow but honestly I think its meant to be binge watched. I am by no means an expert but it seems like since Netflix does things where they release whole seasons at once it kinda changed the way they do episodes. There are still clear punctuation points at the end of episodes so they stand alone but the really neat stuff is how the episodes intertwine and the seasons general flow is a crescendo to the end...I think that's why people love House of Cards but I just cant get into that show...

They don't need to repeat themselves after commercial breaks or between episodes (normally there's a week of so gap) so they can pack more "show" into the same time.
