Maybe we could have a contest for the GOTJ Meetup Massacre design. Not sure what info needs to be on the t-shirt. Maybe someone with more knowledge can fill in the details.

Well, I'm not the most confident artist, myself, but getting positive feedback from artists I admire sure helps.

So as someone who's art you apparently dig, given the numerous props you've given me, I can verify that your art is indeed dope. Maybe it doesn't stand up to some of the standards you hold yourself to, I wouldn't know, but there's always room for improvement. I've seen people's skills take leaps and bounds in the span  of only a year or two and no matter how good one is, one can always be better. That pretty much applies to everything though, not just art.

As a former illustrator type myself, I hesitate to jump in between you guys' brainstorming with points (too many cooks an' all that) but that's looking good too Scruffy!

Well hey, you have me beat to fuck there. I can't draw architecture for shit. I'm not a fan of background work in general. If I actually try I can usually come up with something passable, I'm not very gifted with perception and vanishing points and whatnot though. You seem to have a pretty good grasp of it.

hold up, must clarify...

i didnt lay that out, its based on an actual street corner in boston.  just needed somethin random to try out finishes on.

the idea is, that it would look like this, were it a comic.

http://i1275.photobucket.com/a.....1396401031

i doubt the style would work animated.

for the record, i do draw architecture, lemme see if i can find an example thats even slightly 'inked'.

...

okay, 40% done, anyway.

NOBODY'S stuff meets their own "standards"... That's why the phrase "An artist is his own greatest critic" exists. Therein lies the value of a different set of eyes. I think anybody who's posted their work in here could take something they made and said "Meh" about, post it, and at least one of us would think it's completely bad-ass. Like all forms of art, as we've discussed in a few other threads regarding music talent, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Damn, just how many clichés can I fit into one post? lol.

Started this yesterday while working on the butterfly hatchetman thing. Was thinking about coloring it, but I kind of like it in black and white.

Couldn't even tag me bro, or tell the crowd who these men are?

That's Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo, son.

Dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow.

I don't have a cow, but I'll shoulder the dishonor none the less.

Anyways, I hoped you enjoyed your very macho and straight art.

Very macho. So straight. Nothing at all homoerotic about sweaty, half-naked men slamming their bodies into one another.

I fucking love this sport. Violent soap operas all day e'ryday. I will die with the kayfabe.

Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo better team up again now that they've hugged it out after Puma won the championship belt or I will fuckin' revolt I tell you what. I'm tired of seeing them fighting just because Johnny accidentally clocked a brother with a chair. Shit happens.

You should draw Mil Muertes and his wife now.
