*UPDATED* Insane Clown Posse’s Debut LP “Carnival of Carnage” Celebrates 30th Anniversary! (Mini-Editorial)

Attention Juggalos worldwide! Today marks the official 30th anniversary of Insane Clown Posse’s first Jokers Card “Carnival of Carnage”! That’s right! On Sunday, October 18th, 1992, Psychopathic Records permanently slasher carved their way into the urban decayed Detroit hip-hop scene with their Dark Carnival classic debut “Carnival of Carnage”.

Unbeknownst to the young Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, and John Kickjazz (RIP)in 1992, the album would eventually single-handedly change the world forever by helping birth the mighty Juggalo culture, through murderous ghetto-gangster influential nightmare rhyme scheme flavor, that’s brilliantly meshed with top notch production by both Mike E. Clark and Esham the Unholy. With that type of serial killing circus hip-hop formula, the Clowns successfully created a quintessential underground LP that scared the living shit out of Michigan locals upon its unexpected independent arrival.  Ghoulish street cuts like “Guts on the Ceiling”, “Taste”, “Night of the Axe”, and “Never Had It Made”, “Carnival of Carnage” proved the Insane Clown Posse were born to torch the mainstream music world ablaze with their legendary Dark Carnival legacy!

Where were you when you first herd “Carnival of Carnage“?! And which “Carnival of Carnage” track do you bump the most to this very day? Leave your thoughts and favorite memories of “Carnival of Carnage” below!

I’d rake you two for ableism but amazingly Fucker didn’t work homophobia in there so I’ll give it a pass.

John Kickazz? I’ve been coming to this website at least twice a week for 22 years… Scottie, clean this shit up. These dudes are fucking idiots and Chad can’t proofread for shit unless it’s about Glitterclit and whatever other weak ass metal shit he listens to. Whip and I used to travel to Sub Noize and Strange shows to write fucking 900 page reviews for this shit. You used to take pride in this place and now you have these fucking dudes reporting on Blink 182 tours and the hottest death metal Thundercunt bands in Wheeling, WV or whatever the fuck. You should’ve just sold this shit to Mars when he bought RealJuggalos and this shit die too.

Relax, bro. Going to give yourself a brain aneurysm with that built up anger. It’s just music. Nobody told Mankini to post Blink 182 news. He did it as a fan. And for others who read FLH who are Blink 182 fans too. Blink reuniting surprisingly had more hits in 24 hours than the latest ICP and Twiztid posts. Source: My own screenshots:

It is interesting that you specific guys hate rock/metal so much when Psychopathic Records signed Zug Izland, Mo-town Rage, etc And toured with Mindless Self Indulgence, Mushroomhead, was supposed to tour with Gwar, booked One-Eyed Doll, Soulfly, Cannibal Corpse, etc. Final words. Yes, I fucked up. My apologies. There was no intentional disrespect towards the legacy of ICP. It was an overlooked autocorrect from my phone before sleep. RIP John Kickjazz.

Never said I hated metal, and I’m taking my wife to see Blink, so that’s irrelevant. This shit was never Revolver or Blabbermouth. I busted my ass when I worked for 7SE and M:I to get that shit up here. Getting Temple Rain on the sidebar was fucking huge. I’m happy you’re getting clicks with articles about mainstream artists, that’s literally how it should work. But who’s benefiting from that?

I interviewed Dr. Gigglez in 2001 to promote The Doctor Is In, his return to horrorcore and the scene in general is fucking dope. He’s a god damn legend in this scene, but he’s not getting anything from Blink fans coming here. He’s not getting any plays from promoting your Uncle’s sludgecore bullshit or whatever cool band you found on SoundCloud last night.

The entire genre of horrorcore music survived on this website for over 2 decades. Scott is the last seed standing, he found a way to survive an influx of competition and still has an audience that gives a fuck about a scene and genre you don’t give a fuck about. I get that it was a typo but for the love of Christ man this fucking place was built on a culture ICP created, it’s insane that you’d over look that but your 2,000 word write ups on Mudbutt shows are impeccable.

People don’t bitch about your metal bullshit because they hate metal. Scott has archived more shit from the horrorcore/juggalo scene than most reading this website realize. We used to take pride in being like “Yo we wrote a review and sat down with Potluck and that shit is exclusive to FLH.”

You turned this shit into your own personal Tumblr and can’t figure out why people are mad at you.

It’s the other guys always trying to troll with “he likes rock”. Anyways, I respect your hustle in the scene. I grew up on the music of Project Born and The Dayton Family thanks to my babysitter in the mid 1990’s. I lived right next to the Fenton Rd Tavern and attended the same middle school as Yavid of King 810,being I’m originally from Flint and all. Attended my first Hallowicked in 2007. Menacide (RIP), Kung Fu Vampire, Lo Key, Q Strange, etc have all personally thanked and personally keep in touch with me, all for what I’ve did since 2012. P.S. I tag myself in the posts to reach more people and it works ;) Rejoin as staff, bro!

Imagine thinking you could edit and delete your way into being correct. Carsten said ICP and GWAR did a tour to support his argument. Why would anyone invent a tour and think no one would notice? An adult would just admit they were wrong, Chad. It doesn’t hurt, don’t be so afraid.

You actually thought ICP and GWAR toured together. That’s fucking hilarious.

Why do you typeset GWAR with lower case letters? It looks really dumb like that.

For that matter when did ICP and GWAR tour together? They are both headliners, it would never happen. They’ve played the same show, same festival, but same tour? A journalist shouldn’t need to pull imaginary facts out of their ass to support their position.

Yep. I typed too fast. Gwar and ICP were supposed to tour together. Detroit News is my source:

You typed so fast you left out the truth. The article mentions a tour that never happened, not one that did. If you’re typing so fast you alter the facts, then maybe it’s time to slow the fuck down, kid. You’d have plenty of time to type and proofread if you weren’t constantly clogging this sites pipes with shitty music. As for GWAR, you better learn to spell it with all capitals. It’s typeset that way and you look like an idiot using lower case. The Detroit News typeset it correctly, why can’t you? Learn from your mistakes.

The tour would’ve occurred if Dave Brockie didn’t die. Do you rage at Spotify, Entertainment Weekly, Amazon and VH-1 for putting Gwar?

The tour didn’t happen, dummy. You’re taking Violent J’s word as fact, that’s another bold move. Regardless, yes I would slap anyone who typeset GWAR incorrectly because I’m a fucking bohab. Fuck Spotify, Amazon, VH1 and posers like you. Satisfied?

They might as well not have a comments section if they’re gonna delete comments when they get called out on their BS and blame it on “typos”. Apparently PROOFREADING something before it’s posted is an unheard method around here. This site used to be THE place to go to for underground news, especially when a new project was gonna get dropped, and now social media has made that aspect of this page irrelevant. Hell, I remember when Gorilla Voltage was hyping up the release of Gods and Claws and this site took MONTHS before it was even mentioned. Now this Chad kid is getting called out on his BS on almost every article, and comments are getting deleted. If y’all are gonna start doing that shit, then learn to proofread or quit working on the site.

Got deleted again. Gd to know juggalo expression is fully supported, here on a juggalo website. I must be striking some nerves and hitting home w some of my comments. Ppl and their glass feelings. Hilarious. Also I agree w Tussin about the state of this website. Scottie not only built 1 of the original juggalo sites but it’s lasted all these yrs. Faygoluvers used to be a juggalo online hotspot, before social media is what it is today. Shame hallsofillusions and milenko500 went belly up. Realjuggalos was decent too. Idk maybe I just miss the glory days. And fuck this censorship shit. That’s fr fr weak sauce. Grow a pair already. Shit.
