The third-party website under “editorial staff” gave it away. Anyone covering this would want credit (and deserves it).

I’ll leave some constructive criticism here, because I know he reads it.

First, stop writing like Violent J in Violent J’s voice. His wrestling sales pitch schtick is his. As in, “awestruck crowds had their skulls shattered by the immense presence of Shitty Opening Band, as the crimson sunset swallowed the sky over Bumfuck, Nevada…” you don’t need that.

Secondly, and from the above, you already have your own voice. Use it. Padding word count with adjectives isn’t journalism. Instead, what is YOUR take? “This band was only playing for eleven people and although they stumbled a few times at first, the Dayton, Ohio three piece won the crowd over with sick guitar work.” If your angle is “everything is amazing,” fine, but you appear to know your music and…

Third, stop kissing ass. If you want to get famous, assume fame. Just because you’re interviewing Snow or N 2 Deep doesn’t mean you need to call them the greatest rappers of their time. You have a lock on the Juggadjacent underground, so stop acting as if you’re afraid to say anything neutral or negative.

If everything is wig-splittingly pandamoneous, then nothing is.

Last, you are either extremely, extremely good at the technical aspect of writing, or you have one hell of an editor. Most writers still struggle with grammar and structure, but you don’t. So, you’re halfway there. Stop hiding behind “editorial staff,” say you wrote the shit and own it.

Bro, you just wasted way too much time putting all that into writing. I don’t mean it’s bullshit, it’s fantastic advice but he won’t listen.

He doesn’t listen to any type of feedback.

He posts a thousand articles about bands that get universally negative comments and continues to keep covering them. That stupid Sick Gang 55 that he’s so in love with; I’ve never seen anything but negative feedback in the comments but he continues to post them, over and over again.

Your advice is fair and accurate but you wasted your time trying to get through to him.

Haha fair, but noticing that *every single sentence* in the first paragraph has an exclamation point, man…I know the guy has the zeal. But as you’ve pointed out, it appears that openness to criticism could be a bigger factor. Excuse me…Juggalos gathered by the threes and fours in the astounding comment section to speculate about just how amazingly shitty the next article will be!

Fair, but I’m a betting man and would gamble that no one else on earth would type the following:

“Trap metal beasts Scythe Gang 666 have been hailed as the future of heavy music. They massacred the Nightmare Stage late at night when their fierce energetic stage presentation that immediately had the Juggalos letting loose in the pit as if it were their last hours to live! Michael Vanson’s signature screams were so omnipotent to the point that it evoked a sense of Grim Reaper Gangster drive-by fear through his hellish screeches. “

This amysintheattic guy is Chad’s burner account. Literally all he does is run around these comments defending chads articles. Don’t waste more of your time trying to reason with him.

Chads getting tired of being called out. He has to take extreme measures to convince us he’s “gd at this”
I don’t ever really recall anybody complaining about Scottie or anybody else. Not saying it’s never happened, Chad tho, constantly writes db shit that we have to roast.
    Hey Chad, 2+2=4, not orange.

Just goes to show, kinda mixing too much rock/metal with it these days. You’d think after the way people talk about twiz doing that they’d leave it alone and stick to underground, but I guess they gonna learn the hard way when GOTJ 2024 ends up just being another warped tour.
