We just got word about an awards show put on by FilmThreat.com simply titled “Award This!”.
The purpose of this awards ceremony is to show love to independent films throughout a variety of diverse categories.
One of the categories is for the Award This! Music Documentary! The fresh part is that the ICP Documentary that dropped last year, The United States of Insanity, is one of the nominees!
The ceremony takes place in Santa Ana, CA on May 21st, so we’ll report on the results as soon as we find out.
Best of luck to all of the documentarians and crew that took part in this HUGE decade-long process!
