Monoxide apologizes to Juggalos for Not being at the Juggalo March

Monoxide of Twiztid just took it upon himself to jump on a live stream and discuss the Juggalo March.  I didn’t think that we’d ever hear anything from the Majik Ninja Entertainment crew regarding the Juggalo March again, but I have to give Monoxide a huge amount of credit for talking about it, reflecting about his/their decision not to come, and more.

I highly recommend you watching it for yourself, and we’re making that easy for you.

Check the excerpt of the live stream that was snipped by our homies at Beneath The Dirt below:

I did my best to transcribe the statement that he made, and you can see that below.

I ain’t thinkin’ about that shit…about how motherfuckers are mad at us and shit.
I know a lot of that stems from the March.
Like real shit, at this point, just reflecting on it, at the end of the day…
and this is just me. This isn’t anybody else.
I shouldn’t even be talking about no shit like this.
But I think you know 20/20 is hindsight
We should have been there if nothing else but for you.
Regardless of what it was, it was something that you guys wanted us to be there and we let all this other shit get in the way of whatever the fuck it is.
And at the end of the day, we fuckin’ let you down.
Because we should have just seen through it and been there.
And I apologize from Paul Methric to every one of you that felt a certain way about that.
You know what I mean? No bullshit.
I said I would never talk about it again, but it’s just been on my mind lately.
And I just want to say that.
For whatever it was, it doesn’t matter.
You guys wanted us there, you needed us there.
And we let whatever interfere with that. And I apologize.
I apologize for that.
It took a while, maybe, for me to see what that was but I do.
I hope we can move past it.

Look, I know that some Juggalos have a lot of disdain for Twiztid and MNE, but I’m hoping that this is the beginning of somewhat of an olive branch being extended.  Maybe not, but I still hold out hope that one day that we can hold our DLs up in the air in the presence of all 5 petals.  Whoop fuckin’ whoop!

Agreed. 100% about the $$$. It makes me sad to see everyone warming up to him for this bullshit. It’s like abused children running back to daddy when he’s having a good day.

that ‘where do they stand on repping juggalos?’ shit never made sense to me. artists like having fans – any fans, but especially loyal ones. just because they dont like icp doesnt mean they dont like juggalos.

2 whoops to Paul for finally putting on his big boy pants and giving us the apology we’ve been waiting for. I hope that this is the start of our family being able to mend the fences that were torn down by this ridiculous drama. Now we just gotta see what j has to say. Scottie, I’m right there with you. I’m in the mood for some new regular lotus. Juggalos are making a comeback

Mono is a good dude and even more chill IRL. Let us not forget that a handful of disses toward ROC exist on Mosttasteless. Now he is signed to MNE. Lastly, ABK, Hoodoo, Ouija, Lyte, Clay and even late hatchet era Blaze have their own labels. Reminds me of Ruthless/DeathRow drama. Hoping for an eventual “this movement is bigger than Psy” moment in which we all get our 2001 Chronic album of old enemies being friends again.

I wish I could believe this as truly sincere. But we all know it has more to do with $$$. I’m sure they’re hurting. That’s what happens when you distance yourself from your fan base for your own financial gain. It’s honestly way too little and too late for me. Good riddance. Enjoy Warped Tour “rocking”.

Haven’t even watched this video and I’ll say this looks like potentially the beginning of the end of the beef. This gives ICP at least a chance to no longer use their biggest fake gripe against Twiztid.

I’m a much bigger ICP fan then Twiztid and I’ve hated on Twiztid plenty, but their statements about The March being a publicity stunt was spot on. ICP used Juggalos emotions over The March as a way to drive a wedge between a lot of them and Twiztid.

Twiztid was undoubtably mistreated and taken advantage of during their time @ PSY.

Twiztid also undoubtedly would never have had a career in this business to begin with if it wasn’t for ICP putting them on…HOK or Infamous Superstars Inc (lol) was going nowhere despite what’s Jamie and Paul try to convince themselves and dipshits actually believe…

Twiztid did disrespect and backhand ICP after leaving the label, but this was reactionary to the way ICP disrespected them and treated them while on the label. I lean toward the side of be humble and don’t disrespect those who put you on, even if they disrespect you, you should bite your tongue.

So I’ve been one foot in on the fuck Twiztid camp for sure. But I’ve seen Paul mention before that this beef “ain’t nothing but some petty shit that they’ll get over eventually” as if to imply they don’t seek to perpetuate the beef, they just aren’t gonna suck up to ICP for getting their panties in a bunch over standing up to them. This seems to support that theory as he’s giving them every opportunity to patch things up now.

I’ll give huge credit to Monoxide for saying this. He didn’t have to and I think nobody would have questioned it if he never said anything. But as many have pointed out, I’m guessing it was more based on the idea that MNE was slated to be an underground juggernaut with a bunch of established artists that ultimately didn’t hit their potential because everyone lost credibility and ICP came out as the sympathetic camp in all of it. That’s not to say hes trying to get people to buy their shit, it could very well be that he felt an apology was owed for his own piece of mind. I’m willing to give him that credit. Let’s see what happens from here – that will be telling.

I never understood why people let artists beef influence what music & artists they like. I have always listened to both sides of every music related beef. To each his own, i don’t think this apology will change people’s taste in music, but it’s still a good thing that Mono acknowledged he was wrong in this regard. People who didn’t buy their music before still won’t, & people who did never stopped (at least when the album was decent), so it’s all about integrity, IMO. Just my 2 cents, but I think it’s good to admit when you’re wrong, & forgive people who apologize (the first time, especially. Not repeatedly for a similar offense, necessarily). Mono apologized, so I forgive him. Respect for doing what’s right.

Look at this 2 bit snake ass fuck boy that is mono lmao. This fr fr sounds to me like some desperation shit as they know more and more and more juggalos keep distancing themselves from twz. He realized the record sales and show attendance isn’t where they want or need it to be so “let me apologize”.
Good psychological play tho, just doing it himself to make it seem more “organic” but this just reeks of bullshit to me.
This is a half ass “I’m sawwee”.
He’s still vague about “the other shit”. If he meant it, he would come clean on his behalf too. He was still trying to imply and make it out like it wasn’t all his fault, and it was all on “the other shit whatever it was”. GTFOH
Fuck mono and fuck twz and fuck this sorry excuse of an apology. I ain’t buying it.

When they first split, and I didn’t know what was going on behind the scenes, I had zero hate for them. I actually “got it.” But then looking a bit more into it after hearing all they hate that was going on, I was hurt like I figure a lot of us were. But done is done, or so I thought, but then they keep taking jabs and shit. I don’t care who was in the “right” or “wrong” of the shit. They didn’t just bite the hand that fed them, they continue to gnaw on that bitch. One can hope this is the beginning to attempt and rectify things, but it is a very small step in my opinion. MFL
