Tech N9ne Releases New Album ASIN9NE Ft. The Rock, Lil Wayne & More

Tech N9ne remains one of the most consistent artists to touch the mic. The independent king is back with a brand new album called ASIN9NE today where he’s offering 17 new songs for fans.

The last couple of projects that he put out, there weren’t many star guest appearances on it but he’s changing that up a little bit this time by enlisting Lil Wayne (on‘ Too Good’), Russ (on‘No See Umz’), and yea Dwayne “ The Rock” Johnson (on‘ Face Off’).

The last one is noteworthy because it marks the WWE star’s first rap appearance on a song. “ It’s about tribe, it’s about power/ We stay hungry, we devour/ Put in the work, put in the hours and take what’s ours/ Black and Samoan in my veins, my culture bangin’ with Strange/ I change the game so what’s my motherf ** kin’ name (Rock)” he raps in his unique baritone. A music video for the track is on the way as well, premiering in a few hours which you can catch here.

Can’t stand The Rock. Fake, brainwashed fame. The guy could have done a whole verse about how he rapes paraplegic children and everyone would love it. I always give new tech projects a listen but haven’t truly enjoyed anything he’s put out since KOD. Fuck the rock though.

I haven’t heard the song but a song w tech and the Rock should be called “Can you smell what the N9ne is cooking?”

I just listened to the whole album and I’m just bored of tech, in general. A couple of good tracks but it’s pretty forgettable. I’m bored of hearing him talk about how he doesn’t fit in anywhere and how he’s misunderstood, despite being consistently ranked in the top current artists (as well as his whole back catalogue being generally viewed as classic) and being features on the Forbes Rich List. If you heard the last tech n9ne album, youve already heard this album, except this one has the rock….
