Juggalos and Juggalettes…the Insane Clown Posse seminar ended just a couple of hours ago, and I can’t lie…this ninja had a hot tear stream down his face after the announcement. Violent J revealed that he has been dealing with some pretty severe heart issues, an afib specifically, and that in order for him to live his best older years, he’s got to slow down on the touring. He poured his heart out to Juggalos for about a half hour about it, and said that they would be launching a Farewell Tour next year where they’d play cities and countries all over the world!
Don’t let that get you down though…he said there would be more music than ever before, and that we would get AT LEAST one ICP show a month, and still do their annual events such as Juggalo Day, Hallowicked, and of course the Gathering of the Juggalos.
They also said that next year’s Gathering was going to be called Gathering of your Dreams, and that Jumpsteady, Shaggy, and Violent J would be booking stages based off of who they wanted to see.

As shitty as this is, and it IS, personally I much rather have J around even if he isn’t doing shows. There’s still plenty of ways to entertain and drop his brand of knowledge and perspective. I honestly don’t know how many times ive seen icp live so I’m thankful I got to see the clowns all the times I have over the yrs. Icp has always been the best concert imo. We got you J!

Word. He’s getting old with lots of heavy milage on him. Sometimes ya gotta just take your foot off the gas and coast a bit and enjoy the scenery. I hope the time away from touring puts extra freshness into the remaining joker cards. Also, this should serve as a wake up call to realize we are all human and life is delicate. Focus on health now and thank yourself later!

Damn, that’s tough to hear, and definitely even tougher to say. But I’m glad that J is going to do what he has to in order to keep us entertained, but even more important, being there for his kids, and down the road, his grandkids. You can tell by the emotion on his face that he doesn’t want to say it or believe it. But I remember here a while back people were saying that it would take a life threatening situation to someone to potentially end the shit between ICP and Twiztid, and hopefully this does, so people could get to see them perform together one last time, and do Dark Lotus, but I don’t know about y’all, but J starting the Juggalo Chant at the end gave me chills, and got me a little choked up.
