The Boondox album should be a EP. I’ll probably get on YT and check them out there. Hope to see a TCD full length album soon, but Boondox made it sound like it’ll be another year or 2 until we get another album from him.

We’ll see. Everybody on MNE is bringing their A game and putting out quality AND quantity. I love that most everybody is involved in at least two things, like TCD and UGA for Boondox. Everything is so fresh.

Kinda bummed I didn’t get my preorder from Black Friday shipped, but I also ordered that HOK vinyl that comes out next week, so I’ll probably get it then.

That Boondox album is overflowing with cliches. I wanted to like it, but eh.

Does anyone else remember an interview where J said twiztid never forgave them for “releasing another album on the same day as theirs because it forced people to decide between one or the other and it hurt the sales”?
I dgaf about either album but it’s something I always remember J saying he really regretted not knowing at the time.
Must not have bothered twiztid THAT much if I remember it and they don’t lol

What album would that have been? Only ones I know that were released at the same time were the Bizzar/Bizaar albums and Freek Show. Was there another time it happened?

I think it was Freek Show they complained about, now that you mention it. I don’t really care about the (alleged) beef but it’s kinda funny if that was a real sore spot for them at one point. Just an observation.

Say what you will about MNE but…as a brand they got their act(s) together, from all I can tell. New projects coming left and right, on time, solid. I may not be a fan of every act on the label, but I can appreciate the fact that it’s a very stacked roster, something for everyone just about.
