Yes, you read the title correctly. After Violent J announced at this year’s Gathering of the Juggalos that the 4th Joker’s Card of the 2nd deck will be dropping on Oct 26th of this year, many of you have been waiting patiently for any sort of word on pre-ordes, etc. Well now we got a bit of a bone as the release date has been pushed back to February 15th, 2019! (Just in time for Juggalo Day) This is the longest amount of time we’ve ever seen between Joker’s Card releases and I’m gettin’ antsy but I know I can wait a little while longer as this shit is gonna be some fuckin’ magic.
I do have some fresh news to report though. Fearless Fred Fury will be available for pre-order on November 23rd! Not only that, the tracklist will also be dropping on that date as well as a brand new single from the album!

One more thing I’m noticing. It was also announced that there would be details in the FFF booklet on how to receive your Flip The Rat EP. I dont think this changed but it’s looking like copies of the EP are only available with the proof of purchase of a physical copy of the CD. Which is totally OK with me.

So according to the fb post, it sounds like when you buy the physical copy you send in proof of purchase, plus payment? What about people who preorder on psychopathicmerch? Will they automatically receive their copy when they receive the album or do they still send in proof of purchase plus payment? Hope there is a little more clarity, unless the weed has me fucking stupid right now lol. Either way it sucks it’s delayed, but I’m still psyched for Juggalo Day and FFF.

I’m not hating or anything by the comment I’m about to make. I can almost guarantee you that everybody that sends in proof of purchase and payment for Flip The Rat EP will not receive a copy. I’d be skeptical of doing so, but excited to finally have some information on FFF.

Just to get this out of the way first, I dont hate Psychopathic Records and I dont love MNE. I refuse to get involved in this gay “beef” but I feel like shit is falling apart over there. I know delays happen but this is kind of fucked up. That said, how dope would it be if they DID drop the album tomorrow? It wont happen but that would be genius marketing. I havent been excited for an ICP album for a while now (and this one is no exception) but it sucks for everyone who was hyped for it’s release.

you’re actually right. I’m just tired of Psy’s unreliability. In the end it wont matter, in February I’ll be as excited as I was yesterday and I’ll be glad to hear the album.
But it sucks to doubt every second official date they’re promoting. They’re so long in this business, why didnt they just announce Feb 15th as the release date in the first place? I wouldnt have minded, I can wait and I dont want it to be rushed like everybody else. This kind of pr-management is just, I dunno, not necessary and harms their reputation. Because it sucks to look forward to a date and to get the bone, over and over again. Thats just it. So in my original post I guess I was just missing an excuse for getting the bone, of course knowing that this wouldnt have changed anything.
..and as I said, in the end I wont bother too much, its gonna be alright. But right now it sucks ass, especially because they are so known for not being that reliable.

They’ve had a long career and we’re lucky they still put out anything at all, but, can’t deny it’s a bit of a bitch tactic to announce the new date nearly 24 hours before the original release date. They would have probably known for about a month or so now that it’s not going to come out on 10/26, why wait until the last minute? I also have a subscription to Apple Music and don’t normally buy physical music anymore except for vinyl, so I wonder if both FFF and Flip The Rat will be streaming? They have to know that Flip will be leaked online.
