Juggalos! Juggalettes! It’s your boy Bezerk with some somber news to bring you. I don’t even want to have to bring this to you, but this is just the way it has to be my juggalo homies and supporters.

No! You did NOT read the title wrong. As of today, I am official retired from the Underground Spotlight as the main interviewer. I’m still gonna run this shit for you guys, but I am no longer going to be doing the interviews. I am looking for TWO replacements actually. Why two? Because none of you fuckers would ever be able to keep up with the vintage BeZerk, and it seriously can become severely overwhelming with how much you can be hit up sometimes. Sometimes it can be frustrating dealing with the type of people that hit you up too.

I first started this shit 3 years ago in October, and I have done well over 150 interviews that were published on either the old site, or the old site and here (which the old site is still available to be seen). Overall, I did well over 300 interviews, which many were obviously unpublished. My biggest interview was never published, though I did mention it here and there. My biggest interview was with Mummia Abu Jamal, who was at the time America’s Best Known Death Row Inmate. It went unpublished due to incompetency on my behalf in which I forgot to keep a copy of the questions for myself lol.

I would like to thank the juggalos, underground junkies, fans, and supporters of me all these years. It really changed who I was for the better, and you guys have given me more love and respect than most of my own blood family; so I am forever grateful for that. If I could pay you all back in a way, I would. Some of you fucks were there for me when I was so down in a darkened black hole, that it’s any wonder I didn’t kill myself, and without your support, I probably would have.

The crazy ass experience this has brought me too has enabled me to live a life that I could never have even imagined. It was more of something I’d dreamed of, but never thought in my life time I could achieve, and I owe it all to you guys. You guys built me into this, and I’m only getting bigger and better each day. I’m able to achieve so much more now, and even believe in myself to the point where I’m actually in control of my life.

I am not going to give personal shout outs really because I don’t want to forget anybody, but I would like to thank Scottie D for all he’s ever done for me. I’d like to the Big Ian for the opportunity and passing my shit on to Scottie D so I could get the whole Underground Spotlight gig. I also have to thank the SicFux (from the fans to SicFux Ent.) for all that they have done for me. The SicFux really helped pilot part of my persona, which made me much larger than what I was before fuxin around with them.

So now that we got that the appreciative gratitude out of the way, we need to discuss a replacement. Like I said, I would like to get two people to cover for me. I will still run this shit, and get people in contact with those two people if need be, and I will monitor over how well the replacement is doing. If you bring the juggalos bogus shit, you’re ass is dropped, and you become another FLH fan again. Trust me, being part of the Faygoluvers staff is actually a really cool fucking honor and gives you a lot of opportunities that you probably wouldn’t have else wise.

So what do I expect from a replacement? I expect you to be dedicated to making a difference in the underground music world. How are you supposed to do this? Easy. It is your job to help the artists writing in by finding good ways to make their UGS unique and something worth viewing. Nobody is going to want a bogus ass interview that’s boring as shit. Have you guys read some of the shit I do for my intros. Sometimes I reread my old shit, and I make myself laugh my ass off. I want to see you guys you actual writing techniques to keep your shit fresh. Whether it be metaphors to alliteration, keep my fucking baby fresh. I also want to see people who have an understanding of the English language. Spelling isn’t as big of an issue, but I know Scottie is WAY pickier about spelling than me. I am definitely going to be looking at your grammar actually to see how well you write. I don’t need people that sound like they have Down Syndrome writing for this.

The fun this about this is, you can have the chance to interview artists that you like, but one thing that you guys don’t get that I never had to worry about, is me telling you some of them to do (not all. Hell maybe not even that many). For the most part though, you’ll be able to pick from the artists you like and the artists that write in. Don’t be like me and neglect 90% of the shit that was ever writing in. Yeah, I’ll admit it. Most of the times, I wouldn’t even open messages from the people who wrote in. There just got to be too many. Hence why we’re getting two people.

As for output of UGS’s, I would like 1 a week, then alternating between the two people. So essentially, two a month alternating in between the two interviewers every week. This will give the replacement plenty of time to find an interview, get it done, and give the actual artist an adequate amount of time on the Underground Spotlight.

So, how the fuck do you become a fresh as Underground Underling? Just hit me up with Underground Underling as the subject at the email [email protected] to first let me know you are interested. From there, I’ll figure something out for you to write for both me and Scottie D to look at. I will probably be deciding who the two are, but I would like Scottie D to be aware and see who I pick, just in case he does or doesn’t like them. Outside of that, you don’t need to do much else other than be a good writer with the passion for music and writing like I had.

Well juggalos, what’s next for me isn’t just an early retirement. Oh hell no! I am not done with this music thing yet. I’m still going to be managing the Spotlight as well as managing some other artists. I will also be hopefully soon, promoting shows under the Faygoluvers name in the St. Paul and Minneapolis area, but those projects are still just in the works. I’m hoping by Spring of 2014, there will be BeZerkaveli and 1416 merch out for you guys two be able to buy, and I’m gonna try to get this shit off to you guys as cheap as possible for the best quality possible. I will also still be doing whatever I can with the labels I have grown close with which include SicFux Entertainment, Night Shield Entertainment, Low Life Entertainment, Street Sound Entertainment, Highly Intalksickhated, mine and The Scrubb’s label and design company 1416 Entertainment, and a couple others. I’m sure I am going to be coaching and helping artists in the underground to help pioneer their career and develop their full potential.

I’ll still try to bring you guys some fresh shit when I can, but life is just too busy for me, and it’s time to pass the torch.
