Dude @sketchez can spit...and Scruff has just now validated each and every time he has ripped Warlock's spine out verbally. Sean Law and Lucem, resolution and Sicc I had heard before and knew they were dope I havent listened to wow's track yet...Im am digging the fuck outta this CD...Thank you everyone involved.
Im not mad at @lucem-ferre anymore bc of his verse on bullshit. Fuck Sicktanick not that that has anything to do with his verse.

I thought I did mention you on Faygo Remembers. I just went over the lyrics and I guess I didn't. Kinda shitty, I meant to get all the staples of the forum.
Plus, I will not clarify who I was dissing. But people should know, but I didn't throw names in there for I don't want a buzz off of beef, I want a buzz off of my artistic expression. So I will never say the name of whom I was dissing, or more like calling bullshit on.
We tried to get Warlock in on it. I really wanted to get him on Faygo Remembers because he was one of thee forum rappers that everybody new about. He was going to do it, he liked the beat, but he backed out of the whole thing because he was "too busy" to do it. More like too bitch to do it. Plus, as much as I wanted him on there specifically because he is one of the more well known of the forum artists, I was also frightened of having him ruin Faygo Remembers. Very happy everybody killed it on that song. I would have said no to any verse I didn't like.
Scruffy put this whole thing together, came up with most of the ideas, and really did mastermind it the whole way through. He hit us all up and got us all together. @spange didn't stick around for it, and @jiffy_long wasn't really around during the main construction of this project.
I told Scruffy he should have named himself as the director of the album or sumn.

i wanna take a moment out of your day to say a couple things about this project.
ocj asked about turtle herding and masterminding. responses might give the impression that i did that.
i am not about to accept that credit. i was not the creative director, this is not 'brought to you by scruffy'.
heres what it is... we talked all this shit out in group discussions using private messages [and by email n phone calls, but predominantly pm], in these long, involved threads that i dubbed 'roundtables'. at the start, i figured one roundtable was enough, but in all, i think we needed like fifteen of em.
i started most of the roundtables, to help things stay coordinated. and that is about all i really did, aside from recording a little stuff.
the heavy lifters here were absolutely sean, sketchez, and lucem.
sean is a worker. you can tell that from the tracklist. he can crank out verses like a phenom. mad quick. he has probably written two verses since you started reading this post.
lucem is a little underrepresented, as far as how much he did to help put the lp together. aside from his solo tracks, though [which are, to coin a phrase, very lucemy], he also had the unenviable job of arranging and mixing both of the multi-collab songs on the album. ever tried to engineer two recording sessions spread over six weeks, 5000 miles, and five email accounts?
he also brought the outro, which is nice.
and then theres sketchez. again, the tracklist speaks to his contribution, but lets talk about mastering.
the whole time we were doing this, i was positive there wouldnt be a master. all these songs were recorded and mixed in at least nine different setups, probably more.
sketchez did a master for the lp that gives it a vastly more unified sound than it wouldve had otherwise, and he did it in a way that doesnt cover up or take away from the various producers' styles. actually, it does cover up somewhat for certain flaws, such as my penchant for gutter-sounding, rough mixes. with what sketchez pulled off in post, my shit sounds way more polished, by comparison.
neverthrive needs a lil bit of extra creative credit, too. album didnt have much of a concept to it at all for a long time. we had pages of ideas for names and themes.
after never hooked up that fresh ass cover art, it was kinda like, 'ah, this is a real album, and thats what its gonna be like.'
another thing i wanna yack about, is who isnt on the album. not puttin out names, here, but yeah, there was a few people that were asked into it that didnt end up on it.
i wanna make it clear, though, that nobody, nobody was 'dropped', or told by anyone that they had to get out, or anything like that. some guys never came back with anything, some just didnt want to be involved, for their own reasons. but there was never any exclusion.
regarding spange specificly, i do want to clarify that it wasnt that he didnt stick around, he just didnt know about it. he doesnt come here as frequently as most of us, and he didnt realize he had gotten a message about it until we were almost done.
and there were some who werent asked. sorry.
it was kinda hard to figure out who we should get at, and how. remember, this thing was being done all secret-style, we couldnt just put out an open call.
but if there is ever a sequel or sumn...
oh yeah... click this.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

Very well put.... But your selling yourself short Scruff Dogg.
I would have liked to hear that "we don't suck" song. Glad it wasn't made though. Lol. Would have ruined the vibe.
I have started writing for a possible follow up, and got my equipment back in somewhat working form, so I might drop some random stuff at random times.
I'll fuck you till you love me, Faggot!

I think Sketchez and SiccSe7en have my favorite tracks, but Scruffy has my favorite verses.
The most memorable lines are from Scruffy
'You're stinkin' up my house with that BULLSHIT!'
'Pay me in that respect shit, nah pay me in chex mix'
'something something about the best high coming from success'
He's also my favorite verse on Faygo Remembers.
