The reason it's bad is more so because of the fact they aren't "marketable", and the fact Lucky let them decide what to do.  Sheets need blood splatter [and possibly tarps as well since it's what they were going for].  They need white shirts with blood splatter and skinny jeans as well as moccasins.  They need to look more marketable.  As they are, they are basement/dive bar status for days.  If they dumped the guitarist, got make overs and actually looked cool/the part, they'd be as huge as Capture the Crown after two or so records on Artery, Rise, Sumerian, etc.

These guys are good, really good.  The singer seems natural as far as going from scream to singing and back, the singing doesn't sound overly effects laden [ie, autotune like most metalcore/deathcore bands do] etc.  The dude needs a mic in his hand, and they need actual amp stacks and shit behind them, but whatever.  Vocalist also needs way more stage presence.  Without that stuff, I just don't buy it.  And to prove my point about "looks", imagine if the video was similar to this...

If you were into this music, you'd think "wow, these guys are good".  Then you'd see them and change your mind quite a bit.  Why?  They don't look the part.  They all need makeovers and the guitarist needs the boot.  It's just fact.  I can tell you 100% they will never get a proper record deal and on decent tours as anything but the opening act with the guitarist they have, the "everyday" look they have, etc.  Metalcore and deathcore are very centered on looks, and as far as the vocalist, bassist and drummer go, they don't have it, but they have a decent canvas to work with.  So, they need a "rockstar 101 makeover", the same guitarist in a slimmer stature [sorry, but it's just facts], and a demos worth of strong songs like this.  

Anyways, that's all my ranting for now.
